LeVeon Bell is the perfect example of "the grass isnt always greener on the other side". He had the ideal setup in Pittsburgh: a player-first coach, an adoring fanbase that worshiped the ground he walked on, and an o-line that had more pro bowlers than Bell had healthy seasons. He was offered 14M/yr which is an insane contract even today, and he was on a roster that was competing for super bowls for the entirety of that contract. He had EVERYTHING he could have asked for......but he thought he could get it all and more somewhere or somehow else. And we all saw what happened as a result

Didn't Brown do pretty decent for a while at first? I definitely feel like Brown's problem was more that he wasn't mentally the same ever since he got clocked in the head facing the Bengals. I'd agree with you on Bell though, but I think a lot of that has to do with missing a year and joining with the Jets when Gase was the HC. He seemed less of a power back and more of a shifty and elusive style runner. I think that's probably a good part of what made him as effective as a receiving back as well.

I might be in the minority, but I can actually appreciate Bells' intent. With his usage rate and how NFL contracts are structured, it makes sense to negotiate for more guaranteed money than what the Steelers were offering. 13:30: This is spot on. Football is a TEAM game. Several coaches have preached the mantra " There is no "I" in team". He decided to leave his teammates in a trash dumpster and they had every right to be angry and upset.

6:55 you had guys like Thurman Thomas and Marshal Faulk too. They were pretty good. Like MVP good.

she acts like Bell was the first dual threat back, guess she forgot about Faulk, LT, Priest Holmes, Shaun Alexander, etc…

I don't even remember when Le'Veon Bell was playing for the Chiefs. That's how irrelevant he became.

Elite line play IS AFC north football. During college pro days, Pittsburgh’s O line coach Pat Meyer is *the* coach that works out the college players for all the NFL coaches to see. He’s the coach picked by all the other coaches to evaluate the future of the league. In hindsight, both Bell’s and Connor’s success in Pittsburgh was, in a very big way, due to that offensive line.

Whoa. Giving bell credit for the passing catching trend is an egregious error. College football had a bigger impact on that than bell. In fact it was seen all the time before bell even attended msu. It was bright in as apart of nfl offenses being dumbed down significantly trend combined with the old nfl coaching tactic of utilizing something over and over until it’s stopped

0:28 you say "Eastern Michigan" and show the Western Michigan University logo. You can tell the difference because Western has a big "W" in their logo, Eastern does not.

Yep. LeVeon was the first back to be a threat as a pass catcher. Marshall Faulk, Tomlinson, Walker, Emmitt, Payton, Craig, Martin, Barber, Dunn all learned from watching Bell’s tape.

Please dont feel bad for us Jets fans. We did this to ourselves. Also, I'm not one of those idiot Jets fans who believe we're a playoff team let alone a Super Bowl team.

Brother if you don’t think we are a playoff team this year you need to pack your gear up and find a new team !
