Weird that this comes out, I just took delivery of their Model feT pedal yesterday! I have been using a Sunn Model T amp for a decade but taking a now $5000 dollar amp to dive bars isn't in the cards anymore! Plan on using it into a much less desirable amp (from a thief's standpoint) to get my tone! Super high quality build and will keep my eye on them for future pedal purchases.

Deceptively deep > delay pedal. On first glance I was comparing it to my much loved dark sun. After the first few min the sending was pulling away and after 20 I was again amazed at what people can do nowadays to pack so much into a pedal interface and yet keep it all right there at the knobs. That insert idea is genius.

I'm sorry that Belle could not go and see Tay-tay. Apparently, around 4 million Australians logged into the Australian Ticketek site, which was a random queue draw, not a first-in first-best kind of waiting. I was thinking of a Free The Tone delay (Cosmic Wave CW-Y1), but now I'm considering this EAE pedal. I predict the Australian pricing for these will be $950, or more.

Yes, its cool, theres a lot of features, the saves and midi control, the shape and the swell….but, the RUBBERNECK by Tom Cran is better, or at least comparable imo and its not $600, its $150 used. Dont forget about or sleep on the rubberneck. It too can create epic, ambient pads of chaotic pitch shifted delayed magical oscillation. The rubberneck has an effects loop for the delay lines so you can put amazing ambient reverbs or crazy effects onto the delay lines. Or put a delay at a different interval into the delay…. Then the way the gain and delay time are so interactive is crazy cool. it has where 1 footswitch you can hold down for regen and make it oscillate or “swell” and the other footswitch does the rubberneck where it essentially speeds and pitches up the delay lines, or slows and pitches down. Bro if you can use those two features well…..there is nothing that compares to rubberneck. Plus you can plug in the dod switch pedal and use the effects much more momentary. Like i like to pick out a couple notes then hit the rubberneck for just a split second in time with your playing and it makes just one or 2 repeats pitch up and back down or vice versa. You can do so much with it. Plus it has more delay time than the sending…, it has tap tempo and it does stuff that was unheard of in an analog delay 8-10 years ago when it was created. I think it is the most important analog delay built since the Deluxe Memory Man, and Tom Cran built a masterpiece. So no, im not spending $650 on a delay that has a couple more modern conveniences (like midi and presets) because it also doesnt do the coolest thing the rubberneck does, well it does, but not exactly. The sending is dope, but if it were like $350 id have a lot more respect for it. I do like the way you can change the shape and the mix and i mean it is cool…..but people are forgetting about the RUBBERNECK which i personally think was one of the inspirations for this pedal. The rubberneck is also a beautiful machine.

I have a Polymoon. It's has great features, but every knob has an alt function, and I need a couple charts from the manual to keep track of the modulation settings. It's no fun. I also have a Zen Delay, a Benidub Digital Echo, and a Suhr Discovery. You can tell a LOT of thought went into the UX for those. None of them feel complicated - and they're a joy to use BECAUSE they don't feel complicated, just like a simple DM-2W is a joy to use. The Sending reminds me of the Polymoon. It has no display, and every knob except the filter has an alt function. And the face has room to spare. For $10 they could've had a few more pots or a nice little OLED display. If it was cheaper I'd understand, but it's actually more expensive than the Suhr Discovery. And OMG the Discovery totally outclasses it. It has twice as many MN3005 chips, separate LPF/HPF knobs, a big 4-digit display that lets you dial in times down to the millisecond, time division buttons, and two full-size MIDI jacks on the side. And it's actually more compact. I can't think of anything the Sending can compete with. It has two BBD chips. The Boss DM-101 doesn't have a great interface, either, but it's $150 cheaper and it has EIGHT BBD chips that it shuffles around for a real variety of things.

I understand where you are coming from. However, a feature-centric assessment obscures the bigger picture of what we tried to achieve with this product in terms of sound quality and specific timbres/qualities not found in other delays. The analog signal path of Sending is substantially more complex than outwardly similar products. We prioritized sophisticated analog processing techniques over things like knob per function and a flashier UI, and I stand by that approach. Cheers!

Is that a joke? I don't care about features too much, but soundwise it's incredible. I have almost all the analog delays under the sun, about 25 of them. And the Boss DM-101 is easily among the top very best of all times. If sound is important to you, you can hardly find anything that beats that. That chewy, fat, bouncy, incredibly articulated repeats and the reverb like quality of the trails are just delicious! ...
