Our environments are filled with sensory information. For some people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, this information can become over stimulating which can cause a sensory overload.

My son has ADHD & AS watching him grow made me realise that we have a lot in common, sometimes I see a lot of my self in him. This video reminds me of when I went for a meeting at his school it happen to be at brake time. Walking through those corridors all the noises, too many people walking in different directions just drove me crazy. I remember feeling sorry for my son having to go through it every day. I hate going out in the sales or to Oxford street it makes me feel dizzy or have too many people stand or walk too close to me

Laila Lulu Autism is often genetic, you most likely are on the spectrum yourself, that’s why you relate so well to him. 🙂

Maybe you could see if you have the ADHD or as as well

Through the Telescope! Definitely NOT genetic in my child's case.

One major sensation i love but its a weird one.. when my hair gets long and tickles the inside of my ear especially going to sleep.. its weird I can put the hair in my ear on purpose but it's 10 times better when it naturally falls in.. its odd but if you know you know!

am I jumping the gun by thinking this video could have included more information such as what Adam is experiencing when the other children come out of the classrooms ie whether Sensory Overload [sound etc] or even Sensory Deficit, how he thinks feels etc. Social anxiety etc?

Hello! I am creating a documentary and with the quarantine, I am not able to film what I need, so I was wondering if I could use a clip from the beginning of this beautifully crafted video? I'll link the video and give credit to you as the creator. Thank you so much

With time and maturity the sounds will start to lessen but the sensory to sounds will never truly go away ever. You just learn to live with it instead of letting it consume you mentally.

Most of them would just get earmuffs because stuff like this is too unbearable to overcome or get used to.
