My father also was a drunkard, atheist, always beat my mother, my mother was already christian born again, she always prayed for my dad, one day my dad was so sick because of disease in his lungs due to the amount of alcohol he drank, he was almost died until one day my mother represented Jesus Christ to him, He accepted Jesus as his Lord and savior after that he felt big changes in his heart, 2 or 3 months later my dad get healed without taking any medication, Jesus took away the disease in his lungs 😭😭 he went to hospital to see if the disease is always there, the doctor who made scan of him was so shocked that why did my father get healed because it disappeared, my father answered him it's Jesus who healed me, my father began to preach the gospel everywhere he go, everyone who knows my dad was so amazed by his new life and new person, my father went peaceful in heaven after 20 years of second chance to live, he used all this 20 years to preach the good news until his death

Overcoming addiction just means don't go near the stuff and have the strength to hate it and you might actually grow up. Cigaettes didnt kill a hundred million people, they committed suicide and were to feeble to overcome their addiction and the rest of their problems. Right? September 2023 I was diagnosed with lung cancer. My middle lobe was removed, after my surgery the doctor said ALL of the cancer was removed. Since then every six months I go in for my follow ups the first follow up, March 2024, I’m still cancer free. I believed God could heal me if that was His plan for my life, but if He didn’t I prayed to have the right attitude and still trust His plan.

I thought i was saved for nearly 40 years. Then one day, life circumstances led me to look up and cry out that familiar 3 word prayer and watched 48 hours of impossible events unfold that changed everything about me. I felt the change in my heart. Everyone noticed a change in me. I knew i was saved in that moment and often look back upon it. How it developed. Why things happened the way they did. I am a catholic but I never truly met Jesus before. Indeed There was a period when I was truly lost because of gluttony, addiction, anger, stress and depression. But when Jesus called me, my heart was finally opened. Since I finally got closer to Him, I feel more peace, patient, joy. But I also felt more conviction to get away from sins, I abandon my former lifestyle and now I'm feeling isolated by others because He wants to test me and change my life.
