EXACTLY EXACTLY ! What a servant of the Lord he was. He gave so much and brought many like me to a more perfect understanding of things of God. I had never heard of the Doctrines of Grace before. I found predestination not to be believable on the one hand and logical on the other so as I kept watchin, listening and reading the references, it is now a core belief of mine. He and other Ligonier pastors said like, ' If you don't believe in predestination then you have too LOW a view of God.'

I’ve listened to this message a couple of times in the past several years but hearing it in October 2021 in light of current events it’s taking on a whole new level of urgency and importance. It’s one thing to feed on solid teaching during days of peace and prosperity. It’s a whole other animal when certain specified biblically foretold moments in history arise within a generation calling for a response. It’s a beautiful thing to be reminded that God is and always will be acting on PLAN A. His plan has always been and always will be perfect and in no need of change. There is no plan B. A plan B is unnecessary. No matter how things look. To all my fellow Christians in 2021- fight the good fight. Fight the right fight. See you in Glory!

The Church has seen the passing of a great and gifted teacher and it will miss him. Others worshipped him, called him God, and described him as God. He shares names with God which are reserved for God: Savior, Alpha & Omega, I AM, &etc. He was prophesied as “God with us.” He instructed his disciples to trust him equally with God. God uses the words, “us & our” in the OT in the creation of man. He’s different and greater than angels. Others worshipped him, called him God, and described him as God. He shares names with God which are reserved for God: Savior, Alpha & Omega, I AM, &etc. He was prophesied as “God with us.” He instructed his disciples to trust him equally with God. God uses the words, “us & our” in the OT in the creation of man. He’s different and greater than angels. So true allow me to share a strange revelation that l had a few days ago for l was being questioned by a very faithful church member if the years of pastoring of the family church worth it with most who have fallen away. What came to my mind was Jesus's parable teaching of not casting pearls to dogs and pigs. I asked the faithful member how would l know who were the faithful and who were the pigs & dogs if l had not casted the pearls , the precious word of God, at all who came to us? But those who had trampled and crushed the pearls or the word of God and turned bitten me all over, only then I can discern who are the dogs and pigs and who are the true disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ. Only then can l stop casting pearls at the dogs and pigs (Jesus didn't not elaborate in the parable teaching how we can know who are these dogs and pigs). I hope it's making sense to you. This view of understanding Matthew 7:6 is still very raw and fresh in my mind. I am still continuing to meditate to double triple check if this view is indeed what Christ had intended to teach me how to discern (that is revealed) yet not judgemental (that should not be based on my personal bias and prejudice without evidence). I thought that it's really interesting how this kind of healthy provocation can lead me to see the deeper meaning of Jesus's teaching. I had not heard nor read anyone explained Matthew 7:6 in such a way. I shocked myself by what l tried to explain to this faithful member of my church.

I have enjoyed the exposition of the Word by many, in explication of much of what I would understand, but I have been blessed by this Pastor, this sermon, answering a question that has been in me for better than forty years of my faith. I am of scientific mind, a mechanic, a metal worker, I've spent a life becoming grounded in the sciences, in spite of my faith, and only now have come to know "the great Carl Sagan" chose to side-step the question he could not answer, but which I can now answer for myself, my son and daughter, and for any who ask, in faith. I was greatly blessed this day, by the words of Our Lord, as spoken through this man of God, inspired, and raised up. I've dealt with this issue most of my life, in vain, and now have clarity in my faith, and I thank God for this.

When my mom was killed by a drunk driver - I thought - how do I bury my mother? It's cruel! That was not what GOD wanted for us - death. We must stay focused on our precious LORD JESUS CHRIST!!! I wish you peace and joy in our LORD JESUS CHRIST!!!
