I think the most important thing is people realizing that islamic community is not just muslims living together. It's muslims genuinely educating their kids on islam together. Teaching real islam. (not cultural ideas or attitudes that stem from islam), helps them know real islam and not be swayed by other ideas. Learning islam in a group creates a community for children to grow up in so they feel normal and don't feel the need to assimilate to other groups and abandon islam. Islamic education and community especially in the youth is important.

I think you could include them in this type of talk, however, especially in terma of navigating culture with Islam. Most of his home masjid audience are upper middle class/ upper class indo-pak professionals with a sizable amount of Arabs as well. So most of paradigm comes from these people points of view. Example the non Muslim marriage question for males YQ assumes you are in the group mentioned above which if are in that group it's far easier to marry within than a convert trying to marry within religion but outside culture outside echinity, and outside socio economic class. A working class Hispanic convert will struggle more marrying into a upper middle class indo-pak community than a fellow indo-pak will.

There isn’t a thing we can do against a decree from Allah SWT. I’ve reverted December 2023. I have such a diverse background and lived in a few major cities in the USA, north and south, in addition to having multicultural children. The best way is to be Muslim, -and then. You are always your deen inshallah, but it DOESN’T mean to sound like Br. Mohammed Hijab, -be you 😁 The problem isn’t ignorance, it’s arrogance, but it has many forms. Yes. It is. Because islam in the west is extreme in comparison to the middle east where people only pray on friday. The average muslim in the west is a sectarian or anti culturalist individual. Islam is easy but these people learned from their immigrant parents that came to the west in the 1960's. The muslims that left the middle east were the rejects. Thats why overseas islam is easier and people aren't really religious except on friday and ramadan. But in europe and america you got salafis, ghula shias, all the extremes and ideas that people dont even practice back home. The multiple cultures mixing doesn't help. Islam in the west isn't pure.

Yes, i’m One of those Muslims. After studying in detail about Islam and Pagan Arabia, and many other religions. I came to the conclusion, since the quran is almost a copy of the bible/new testament and other gospels. The major 3 religions, Islam, Christianity and Judaism. Is they are all a copy from sumerian tablets. What hit me was the story of Noah & the flood which was in those tablets many years before the bible and quran. And also, Allah/Elohim/Yaweh/God is K*ll*ng people left and right and Satan didn’t k***anybody. Definitely Not a God i wish to worship. And you also have to look into the prophet Muhammad’s life and all those details and for me many things didn’t add up. A big one is Hajj, Fasting, Ramadan. They already had that in pagan arabia, but the prophet just changed it a bit to fit his agenda. He also had scribes with him writting down the verses that “came down”. When the biggest lie was people saying they started writting it much later after it was memorized. But the truth is, try doing that today after some years it’ll change. So it made sense that he would have people writting down the information when it “came down”. We can get into alot with the hadiths and many other things. But my main point is & message for people is to look into the sumerian tablets and it just make perfect sense how everything and the world religions stayed in middle east because the Anunnaki were in that region

We are trying our best to boycott any western product, but one month's worth of taxes you pay as a westerner is a year of my salary... this is the only issue I disagree with you Dr, no one should be away from Muslim lands except to get money and come back, no roots should be placed in a land where there is no fertility for the future generations, I heard your previous talk about this, and I respect that you are spreading Islam personally, but you cannot say the same for most of the people in the masjid of jumma prayer, most are there for work, their children being raised in a terrible unislamic environment, and you have seen personally the difference between a raise in a Muslim land or one in a western land.

Muslim countries are mired in various levels of injustice and unable to really have power in the world, they are just slaves to the Western or Other major powers at the end of the day. The ability to affect change and the direction of things - look at how Muslim countries have allowed the genocide in Gaza - that ability to have a real impact is not possible in much of the Muslim world, in my opinion.

I understand that the vast majority of young Muslims in your masjid are the children immigrants but I assume that some are the children of indigenous Muslims and Muslims who watch this on KZbin may also be the children of indigenous Muslims and I think that you should take this into consideration as you give your lectures. I am an older Muslim and years ago some immigrant Muslims treated African-American Muslims as though they were invisible or unimportant. I was under the impression that situation had improved, I hope my assumption is correct.

British Muslims tend to be the most conservative western born Muslims and they seem to have embraced a mix of Islamic eastern culture, African American 90s gang culture, and then also a Pakistani village culture. The Muslims in America are less religious and mix with Taylor Swift whites who tend to not be religious by second generation.

Br. Yaser the only problem with Islam in the West is praying in Arabic. Muslims should pray and practice their religion in their native language, i.e. English in U.S., Spanish in Mexico, Mandarin in China, Arabic in Middle East, etc. Quran was revealed in the prophets native tongue. If he was not burdened with learning a new language to practice his deen, why invent this obstacle for others???
