Neither Knuckles nor his dad was made by Penders in the movie universe Knuckles was made by Sega Japan and Pachacamac is Knuckles's dad in this universe who I believe is also made by Sega Japan since he appeared in Sonic Adventure 1 but was not Knuckles's dad in the game universe

@Professor Caos I believe Paramount alread said that Pachacamac was the leader of the group that went to kill Sonic in the first movie and we are shown in movie 2 that Knuckles's father was infact the leader of the group hence Pachacamac in the movieverse should be Knuckles's father and also I believe he shot down the Owl as well and that was Knuckles's father who got killed along with the rest of the tribe

@Professor Caos I know it's not 100% confirmed and straight up shown that Pachacamac is Knuckles's father in the movieverse but if you connect the dots it's safe to assume he is Knuckles's father even though I could be wrong at this as Knuckles's father could be one of the people who was sent down to kill Sonic but it's still worth having some food for thought for this situation and plus Paramount could just change it and actually make it that Pachacamac is actually his father in order to be safer

If it weren't for the fact that SEGA cut off their deal with Archie in 2017, Ben Hirst's Sonic film could have still been a thing. After all, we live in an age where companies are making finale movies long after the shows ended (Nick with the Invader Zim, Hey Arnold, and Rocko's Modern Life movies, Disney with the Chip n Dale movie).

Oh Poor Dazz didn’t know about the creepy insanity of Ken Penders. Dude that is such an insane rabbit hole. Watch the “Wha Happun” on “Sonic Chronicles.” Penders was the one who turned the Archie comics into furry bait, he basically Thanos snapped 200+ characters from the Archie comics leading up to the IDW reboot. Oh and Penders might try to sue Paramount/Viacom because Sonic 2 has a backstory about Knuckles with his father. So it’ll be funny to watch Ken try and sue a multibillion dollar company like Viacom. Dazz you need to explore the Ken Penders rabbit hole.

It's really interesting to see so many people with the first one go "Okay why is he on Earth why is he makin friends with a human?" And I'm over here like "Did literally no one else but me watch Sonic X growing up?" Sonic 2020 is basically Sonic X just take out Chaos Emeralds, put in Sonic's rings, remove annoying kid character with a charming adult to guide Sonic bing bang boom there's your Sonic X movie lol. Since Fowler said the movies are going out of order, or are kinda mixed and merged (Kinda like how the MCU does their movies) then it makes sense that people equate Sonic 2022 with Knuckles and Sonic and Sonic 2 the actual video game sequel. It's a pretty good mesh of both. So movie 3 should be a good mix of Sonic X's Shadow Saga as I call it (the episodes Project Shadow, Sonic's Big Break, Shadow World, Robotnik's Revenge, and Showdown in Space), and Sonic Adventure 2, both stories having Shadow Origins, and Shadow in Sonic X is the best interpretation of him since his first appearance. If this hedgehog is actually going to be in movie 3, then they need to get his character down RIGHT. He's not just some emo version of Sonic, he's cold, yes but compassionate, mysterious, you can never get a good read on him. He shouldn't just be relegated to "villain" status. He's meant to be an antihero but more along the lines of Knockout from TF Prime than Deadpool. Shadow does the wrong things for the right reasons, and isn't afraid to be callous, or blunt. He's the polar opposite to Sonic, so he needs to challenge Sonic's world view.

And my god when they all find out she is one of the Metarex and then her SACRFICE POOR. TAILS. Also Tails in this movie is ADORABLE. He's straight up Tails from Sonic X. Awesome.

You, BRILLIANT. I honestly wanna see Shadow start off as the mysterious anti-hero role instead of just starting out as a flat-out villain. Make him a much more interesting character and all. Like, if Sonic 3, he starts off with amnesia, his rivalry with Sonic is given, then he starts to try and piece together his past, then eventually teams up with Sonic in the end to stop a big threat. It’d be different from what we’ve seen from Shadow before, but it’d make him a much more interesting character. Also, you mentioned Transformers Prime and Knockout. You now have earned my respect.

That doesn't make sense since Knuckles is Sega Japan's character and Knuckles's dad in the movie is called Pachacamac who is owned by Sega Japan since he appeared in Sonic Adventure 1 although in Sonic Adventure 1 he looks to be Knuckles's ancestor I think

The pilot thing comes from an old japanese origin for Sonic. A pilot is nicknamed Sonic because of his speed. His wife writes a childrens book called Sonic the Hedgehog, based on her husband. Sonic became the emblem on the back of his jacket. Mr Pilot (IDK what his name was so make do with Mr Pilot) died in an explosion while trying to break the speed barrier. Years later, a reporter named Meg found Mr Pilot's jacket at a pawn shop (I think it was, at least) and she bought it because it reminded her of the book character from her childhood. She almost died because she was in the range of a plane crash, trapping her in a ring of fire. A gloved hand came, and she woke up in hospital. She looked at the pictures of the accident, and noticed that the stranger with the gloved hand had blue legs and red sneakers. The picture of Meg's rescue reveals it was Sonic.

I actually have a fan made idea for a live action 90’s Sonic movie. It’d be based on Sonic SatAM, and the characters would be actors in costumes with animatronic masks (ala TMNT, Labyrinth, Howard The Duck, Star Wars, E.T.) but technique would be used for all the characters (even Robotnik and Snivley) similar to Dark Crystal. The characters would be designed by The Jim Henson Creature Shop and the director would be George Lucas.

They wrote it so Shadow is more the protagonist against Ivo Robotnik than Sonic. Shadow is a part of the family drama of the Robotnik Family, while Eggman is another villain of the week to Sonic. Replace him with any of the Fleetway Sonic or Sonic.exe and you have a more interesting villain.
