Amen! We need to talk about and tackle the very real situations that cause women to feel like abortion is an option. Many single women after giving birth have to return to work without fully healing and leave their very vulnerable infants in a daycare. Children usually get sick often (especially those that are not breastfed) and many single mothers don't get paid sick time. There is also the emotional well-being and fitness of being a parent. Access to quality Mental health care is severely lacking in our nation. Access to quality public education and quality daycare is also an issue and all of these things can contribute to an increased risk of child abuse and neglect. We need to ensure there is strong support for these children to be raised in a safe and healthy environment with access to necessities.

Yes. We need to pray for everything, but choosing to address a certain issue don't mean that you don't already pray against those other issues. Everything that is not of God need to be addressed and acknowledged openly. People tend to make decisions due to a lack of knowledge.

The Holy Spirit is able to keep us from falling in every aspect of life! This is a wonderful sermon. I do want to point out though that spouses absolutely can say no to each other and it's dangerous to suggest otherwise because abusers will twist Scripture. Consent is necessary. If there is true mutual submission, that also means submitting to a refusal because the person asking ALSO belongs to the person being asked. A person's request is not the only criteria required for a positive answer. Have they been hurting you, disrespecting you, abusing you, neglecting you and then they ask for intimacy? That's not love, it's use, and it creates and maintains a trauma bond because a person is submitting to an act that is completely incoherent with the emotional context.
