Ordered this scent yesterday for $35. I smelled the original GPH in 2013. I passed on it and bought GPH II instead. SOTD is John Varvatos Vintage combined with their aftershave balm.

Michel Almairac is the perfumer, he also created the discontinued Gucci Pour Homme 1 which is quite similar to Bentley for Men Absolute,. When I spray it on myself it doesn't really wow me, but when I'm around people I get positive reactions from this. Great review Monika.

Blind bought BFM Absolute last year instead of Intense for half it's current price which ia crao as i would defo buy a back up bottle. Absolutely (no pun intended) luv it, not sure you can call it a clone if the original does not exist to compare against. Seems only YT reviewers bring it up. I think this scent stands on its own merits.

Great review and a great Michel Almairac creation! Smells like someone poured Dr. Pepper or Mr. Pibb on a bed of heated or slightly burning sawdust. Imagine the smoke in the air after the temperature cools it a bit. Sounds odd, but it somehow works. Absolute gets overshadowed a bit by Bentley Intense. I gravitate towards Absolute more in the fall weather. It's not a huge projector, but it has great silage & longevity

@@darkhorse2924 I asked 5-6 friends, they all tested it on their skin, it smelled the same on everyone. Incense and burning candles, sitting very close to the skin. You could barely pick it up. I'd much rather wear any encre noir, boss bottled or givenchy society if I'd want something in that direction.

I honestly don't understand the hype around this fragrance. They're probably just lying about it so they can monetize some affiliate link purchases. This perfume stinks. It smells like a piece of leather that was soaked in olive oil, dried above wax candles and put in a dirty ashtray for a couple of days. The projection is 0, you can only feel it if you stick your nose to your skin/clothes. I sprayed the hell out of it on my shirt and smelled it again after taking a shower. It literally has like a 5cm projection. Just to compare, I did also spray a single puff of Million gold on another shirt that I left in a different room. I could feel it from 2 meters away, and I think that million gold is a rather discreet perfume compared to others. Don't waste your money on this stinker, buy the Bentley for men intense if you want something good. I have and I love it. Great smell, great projection, easy 6-8 hours.
