The Sh. 5.6bn Eldoret Southern Bypass Already in Use

The Eldoret Southern Bypass was launched in August 2017. The bypass is funded by African Development Bank in conjunction with the government. It connects Cheplaskei and Maili Tisa through Kapseret and Simat. It starts at Ngeria on Eldoret-Nakuru highway and passes through Kapseret near Eldoret Airport before re-joining Uganda Road at Maili Tisa.
It is a 32km stretch aimed at diverting traffic and decongesting Eldoret town. It is within Uasin Gishu county. The construction cost was estimated at sh. 5.6bn and it is already in use.

I was last in Eldoret on 13/1/16 after staying there for five consecutive years. Eldoret is beautiful with a wonderful climate. Kalenjins are generous and also friendly though you may never know their hearts. Betrayal is any time. I miss this place. I was familiar to many places including Rehema, Chaplaskei, Ngeria all the way to the Ngeria prisons, Annex, outspan, Yamumbi, kimumu, Elgon view, Langas, Loady, West Indies, and many other places. May God bless Eldoret, may God bless Kenya. This bypass was a dream then, today is a reality. What amazed me during that time is the high rate of cancer in Eldoret. People should know this eating Ugali day in day out is more of a curse than a blessing. Maize flour, bolted or unbolted is very high in starch. That means it will load the body with alot of sugar and the blood becomes acidic. Acidic blood is a fertile ground for diseases like cancer and others. Yellow maize is better than the white variety. Other refined foods like rice, wheat flour too form basis for cancer development. This means many dig their graves with their own teeth. Lucky enough, i treat cancer and diabetes successfully using natural remedies. Am a herbal doctor.
