It would have cost more than the car was worth to make it roadworthy. Late 90s early 2000s Kias were sh*tboxes to begin with (I had one), so Austin might as well get some good content and fun out of this one.

Austin, I know you are looking for content to give the channel more a bit more life but this Sh*tBox (as you said it) isn't something that interests me. I'm trying to be a loyal follower of your channel, but I struggle watching the videos on this car. I'm never a fan of making cars (or motorcycles) louder as that just annoys everyone you drive past => and your neighbors (which isn't fair); or allowing them to pollute more. More performance is great, better reliability is cool, and even making them look outrageous can be fun. I know this car probably will never be street legal again, and you are just having fun with it. But for me, I'll give it a pass...
