We believe that the Bible is the greater light. Just as a ship comes into the harbor, we view Ellen G. White's writings as the lesser light that spiritually guides sincere Seventh-day Adventists in these times as our harbor pilot.

You should be able to preach this message with the word of God alone. I believe in "Thus saith the Lord." NOT Thus saith Ellen White. Please, please use Gods precious word only. Repeating everything Ellen White wrote is wrong. She said that her words should NOT be used as authority in preaching. Preach from the Bible, brother. Be original, led by the Spirit.

24:05. The Pastor and EGW (Testimonies Vol 3 p. 265:1) are referencing Joshua chapter 7. The story of Achan illustrates how sin can affect others and the importance of obedience to God: Achan's sin caused Israel to suffer. The Israelites' success depended on their obedience to God. Achan’s public confession and punishment saved him from eternal doom. Confession is an important part of reconciliation and restoration with God and the community. Never just listen to a sermon and only accept what is being stated, pause the video and research the section for a better understanding on the message from God.

​@michellbrown8633 EGW should not even come into the equation. This pastor should be led by the Spirit and be able to teach directly from the Bible. Jesus words and teachings are what direct us. EGW is being made an idol of and made equal with the Bible. She isn't.

Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, Peter did not attempt to be original, they were preaching the OLD faith from OLD Testament, they did not bother about Copy Rights as they copied from the Lord. They were focussed on Great Commission not about Copy Rights commission. After all who is the AUTHOR? Devil wanted to be ORIGINAL and it took him out of the heavens. That can be a warning.

Do you follow a church leading you to hell because it's organised? It's the responsibility of the organised church to bring those who have left by love and being true to the foundation pillars of the church and upholding the truth of Christ.

That is the Holy Spirits job. He guides, He directs. EGW says she is the lesser light to lead to the greater light. Why pray tell do you find the greater light but continually harken back to the lesser light . It makes the point mute. Why do you need a flash light to find the sun ( son)
