Complexity's manager was just left behind, unable to leave. - Booths are not soundproof at all, Chineses teams had a massive advantage as they hear the casters lay out the entire game (This was 'fixed' by pumping white noise into the booths to just deafen everyone) - Casters not allowed to have internet - James said that chinese police were monitoring the stream - After working 17+ hours, staff were stranded at the stadium, since all the shuttle buses have stopped. - After finishing the last game, the stream just cut off without any celebration or any analysis. Staff continued to analyse and cast to literally no one for a few minutes - no one told them.

TheKevinTrinh​​​ James can make some awkward Jokes, but the abusive father joke is British humour, dry and lots of self-deprecation, it also makes the panel feel more comfortable in flaming him and being more outspoken. Which I can appreciate. Anyway it's his ability to keep the panel talking and get the most out of them that makes him a really good host, he makes mostly introverted people talk, he keeps it interesting.

Ok to make things clear: 2GD has always been like that. Making awkward jokes and shits. That's what he is known for, and valve fired him for something that he has been doing for years. Reason? Valve wants the e-sport community to be more professional. Now commentators and panelists are wearing suits and looks neat. They're trying to make it like an official sport like NBA, Football etc. Which isn't a bad thing. I just don't agree with them firing GD for that reason. Humour in esports can still thrive through entities like Twitch, and it's very important for esports to be taken seriously if they're going to keep growing (which Valve wants, obviously). Actually, Valve is walking a slippery slope because if casters keep looking unprofessional and acting like teenagers then esports will never get legitimacy, but if Valve-sponsored casters get TOO professional people will turn to more entertaining options on Twitch.
