The life skills you are imprinting onto your children are genius and they are all becoming fantastic adults. Doing push ups before gaming seems silly, but building the skill of work before play is major and a hard lesson to learn as an adult if you haven't been practicing it your whole life. I was inspired to challenge myself to do something healthy for my mind or body before doing anything that I know is not the best (gaming, watching a TV show, eating something naughty) and what a difference it's made. I wish the entire world had parents like Shay and Colette, what a beautiful world we would have.

As a lifelong martial artists, lemme tell you that kick Daxtin threw was LEGIT. kid's got potential, put him in martial arts muay thai boxing wrestling or jiu jitsu. doesn't need to compete but I think he'd love it.
