Skizz I have a tiny suggestion for layer two of your pyramid, I think it would be way more immersive if you couldn't see what was coming in the next section so dark glass that's hard to see through, or a solid wall, and low lighting at first and then warmer and brighter as you progress.

If you put a grass block under the glass, the sheep cant eat it, but it will surround each cell and encourages faster regrowth. That should minimize the number of naked sheep during the shear cycle. Good build, Skizz!

Also, "dispensed" shears only take damage if a sheep is sheared, so you can set the timer as fast as your ears can handle it without issue.

@@PiercedPretty The 'trophy' is actually a renamed carved pumpkin that uses a plugin to replace the item model with a custom one the hermit has saved to a database. Since a carved pumpkin is a block that can be placed, if the 'trophy' gets placed down somewhere it will just revert to being a carved pumpkin since blocks lose their custom names if they are placed in the world. The 'trophy' can only be displayed AS A TROPHY and not a pumpkin by either placing it inside an item frame or on an armor stand like Zed intended here. Zed could tell that Skizz was about to place the 'trophy' directly onto the glass block he got from his inventory, which would have reverted it to being a standard carved pumpkin. Zed mentioned he doesn't even remember the custom name that is tied to the 'trophy' model so it would take a lot of effort to replace it if Skizz made it into a pumpkin again without thinking. That was a lot more text than I expected to use for this explanation, sorry.

Skizz, the only inefficiencies in the sheep farm is the hopper mine cart can only collect a few colors of wool each time. That is your bottle neck. If you have time, adding more collection carts should help ensure you collect all the wool every time.

For your sheep farm, you should put grass under the glass to prevent it from having no grass patch in one of the cells. Since glass is a transparent block it will not make it dirt ^^

Skizz you have a problem with the sheep farm, if the sheep ever eat every grass block, and there is only dirt left, then it can't regrow and the farm stops working. The more sheeps you add to it the more likely it becomes that this happens. To prevent this you can place some grass blocks off to the side where the sheep can't eat it but the grass can still spread into the chamber.

Hi Skizz! You can make the "shelters" in the dirt section not 2 block dirt pillars, but fence posts/stone wall pillars which are super slim and and it would be pretty hard to dodge around those, since dodging with 2 block pillars is easy enough for skilled players

Skizz, if you read comments now, I think that the banner color is more important than the "letter" color. To duplicate a banner you have to start with the same banner color. Hermits won't be "buying" a banner, they will purchase a clone. To clone a banner you have to have a banner the same color as the original.

Welcome back, Skizz! Your videos always make me laugh. I have a suggestion for the sheep farm. The minecart gathering the wool has a long trip to make, and only has 5 slots. That means it has to make 4 trips to gather all the wool colors, by which time some of it has probably despawned. You could separate the minecart track into several tracks, so you have a few more carts making shorter trips and thus gathering the wool before it disappears.

The number of hermits wearing pumpkins on their heads and being confused why the creaking isn't working properly is hilarious to me. When wearing a pumpkin the creaking doesn't think you're looking at it. So anyone with custom head gear, like impulses hair, can't actually stop the creaking. XD

WRT standing "inside" the trophy, I think you can place a glass pane on top of the glass block you put down and stand on that. It's hard to judge the height for certain just based on the video, but it should be close to the right height to make it look like you're sitting in the trophy with your head poking out.

You could name the skeletons in the pyramid so that it makes special death messages like etho did in frogger. Additionally, you could give the skeletons named bows. In the theme of shelter for example you could have like “player was killed by the elements using frostbite”

It really hit home during an episode of Ted Lasso. Mae talks about making it to the top of the mountain and all that's left after is lighting. skizz suggestion for layer 2: instead of glass between the stages use a solid block. for example you can do in the dirt stage black concrete to make it look the player is outside at night (maybe even end-rods as stars and as you progress it becomes like an house interior that will gradually fill up with details

Oh, I love the allegorical progression of the shelter and transition of materials in the pyramid. Cerebral was the right word for it. It gives the feeling of a time-lapse through human history as architecture progressed. I love Impulse just going in circles around you in the cart meanwhile, made me giggle. The tacky bit made me guffaw though.

So a idea you could do for your Pyramid, would be to include checkpoints, where people can choose to exit, and then return at a later time to complete. (Kinda of like Cub's Labyrinth.) Probably would make sense to have the checkpoints be at the transition between levels. If you did that, you could then make it that Level 3 requires two people to complete, since level 3 is all about relationships.

My suggestions, coming from someone who has had a lack of safe shelter before and understands the psychology behind it: 1. Make the first two sections, the dirt and mud...drippy. Add pools of water into the roof so that water drips down in those first two sections. On top of that, make the terrain hard to traverse! Add mud, water, honey blocks, things that will slow a person down. Also, maybe figure out a way to implement wind charges? When you're in a place of homelessness, it's very hard to work your way into even sorta decent shelter, there's a constant need to improve, to make things better, even when everything seems to slow you down. 2. Don't decorate the first two areas, outside of maybe adding grass or leaves to certain places. Start to progressively add more and more decorations as you get further into it, as when you don't have shelter and security, decorations don't matter, it's about survival, but when you start to get shelter, when you start to feel more safe in your home, you do start to think about decorations. 3. Add the more zig zaggy rails to the first areas, not the last one with skeletons. The skeleton onslaught should get easier the further you go in, not harder, as things get safer as you get more secure housing, not more dangerous. 4. Add some sort of separation between each area, black concrete or tinted glass BUT have spots where you can peek into the next layers, because it's like peeking at what you could have, it's not in clear sight, just a peek into what could be, what the future could hold, but it's not 100% in full grasp. Just some ideas!

I would suggest may be not doing glass between the layers of shelter, so it reveals itself as you go along. I would add more hopper minecarts to your wool farm. They only have 5 slots and you're farming 16 colours of wool. It might pick up all the drops eventually if the cart goes around at least 4 times per sheer but some might de-spawn.
