Mecum Auctions will offer what is considered to be the most significant Shelby Mustang ever to be offered at live public auction: The Shelby GT500 Super Snake. The term "rare" surrounds nearly every Shelby model ever produced, and their values are proof that "rare and desirable" equals maximum collectability. There were 34 GT350 "R" Models produced in 1965 by Shelby American, two of which recently sold at auction for nearly $1 million.
