I am heartbroken to learn the news about John Kraman. I am going to miss his voice on the broadcasts and listening to Scott and him talk back and forth . My heart goes out to Scott and Bill for the loss of such a dear friend. My condolences to John’s wife and family and to his Mecum family. Such a great loos . A true class act . RIP JK ( professor)

I remember seeing this exact car at the Detroit Autorama just after it was built. The builder, Troy Trepanier, was setting the car up and the Owner - Poteet, was also there. Car was stunning. Always enjoyed reading about the build coming out of Rad Rides, going back to the light green '60 Impala "PROBOX" that he built back in the 90's.

Nice piece on John Kraman in this episode. I’m sure there is a full length tribute in the works to honor him. I will await that as his contribution was so huge and the hole he leaves so large.

I agree...John Kraman's contribution to Mecum auctions was IMMENSE. I can honestly say that he was one of the reasons that I never missed a Mecum auction on TV, and I was hoping to see him in person when Mecum comes to Glendale, Arizona later this March. I'm absolutely stunned that he's now gone. Rest in peace, Professor, you are already sorely missed.

Not sure it would be welcome on the quaint and quiet canals of England! This is quintessential US. Fair play

I don’t know what is cooler, the fact that this boat has been preserved or the fact that it’s still floating and operating. Special thanks to the person or people that have more money than sense that kept this boat going for posterity.

Kinda new to watching car auctions. A couple of questions for the veterans here... I don't understand why the title says sold for 7,865,000 even though the hammer went down at 7.15 mil? Also what is a 'reserve'? Because I don't think I understand why people are reacting to the auctioneer suddenly saying 'Reserve is off'. Anyways, cheers to everyone!

It was a beautiful plane. And a piece of history. Unfortunately it was bought by some dumbass who decided to turn it into RV instead of restoring it.

The Porsche museum has an unpainted 917 body hanging on the wall with back lights to demonstrate how thin the body is, and you could see objects on the other side.

To say that the ‘59 Chevy Impala convertible with a 3 speed on the column is the most valuable ‘59 Chevy in existence is a bit an overblown .statement. Column shifter? I don’t think so. My experience tells me an automatic is much more valuable and desirable.

Great work on the video! It's such a cool look and story about what goes on behind the scenes to make every Mecum show a success. Looking forward to my first visit to the Kissimmee event this weekend!
