Always an interesting session-loved how you got down a rabbit hole with the first question! Hope you have a happy holiday week!

I love the woodboxes you have where you list your books! That is such a nice idea.

The organization of books is always interesting to hear bc there's so many ways that people can do it that makes sense to them. I know for me depending on whether it's fiction, nonfiction or even comic books, the organization for each kind of book is going to be different for it since each have their own expectations of how to be ordered. (especially comic books which I tend to do by first publisher, then alphabetical and then by the year that the run was put out.)

Thank you, Robert. Interesting.

Wow, enjoyed this Robert. Especially learning about how you taught History and how it’s carried over and is the big part of your personal library and makes up one of your favorite genres. Oj, and I would love a library tour of your shelves…that would be very entertaining! Happy Holidays good sir!

I have always gone with the chaos theory with my books, all over the place, and it basically reflects my life.

I'm glad you liked the tag - and the pun - and _have_ done the tag. The first question is indeed a potential conundrum that I have been hoping people would expound on. The more books we have the more organisation becomes an issue. I certainly look forward to a tour of your good shelves - and which I think may prove quite popular!?

I enjoyed listening to your answers, Robert. I partially organise my books by publisher which may be unusual. But it means I have, for example, a lot of NYR Books together. There's one other question that could be added to the tag and which I think would be interesting to hear discussed. That is whether you highlight, underline or write notes in your books. I could never do that. All of my notes are in notebooks (I'm sure they're so named for a reason!) and my books are unblemished.

Totally with you on the lending and borrowing question. No one really wants to borrow the books I read though which is fine. I actually wish I knew people IRL who liketo read classics and ancient world books. Also I don't like people...I'll just say it... forcing books on me. Oh you like to read - try this autobiography of Ina Garten! Here Here, you'll love it. omg!

Ah, I appreciate the update about the Children’s Crusade. Still love Runciman though.

Loaning/ borrowing books ? From my experience, not a good idea, trust me.

Great content!! And the wooden recipe files!! Are you by any chance a Virgo... i am and i totally understand this! If i were adding a question to that tag, it would be: what irritates you the most when trying to read? Deckled pages!!

Do you borrow books from the Library, or do you buy every book you read?
