This is a very difficult film. It is brilliant, of course, but I think that only 1 out of 1,000 people [maybe even less] is able to appreciate it.

That’s for sure: at the beginning it’s quite slow, but afterwards the drama begins, there are exeptional scènes which people who never have been to Morocco don’t understand. I’ve been more than 20 times, It all starts with the different between tourists & travellers. Magnificent photography. See the book by Scribners. A movie you can see time & time again, because it’s so beautifull...

I read the book and saw the movie and this song was always in my head. It's hard to describe, it feels like life is passing through your eyes and you can't stop time, you can't stop things will be always changing, feeling as little as a grain of sand in the middle of the desert.

Αυτή τη μουσική την ακούω εδώ και μέρες, συνέχεια όλη μέρα. Η ταινία υπέροχη σε όλα της αλλά από τις πλέον λυπητερές που έχω δει. Επίσης δεν ξέρω ποιός έδωσε τον τίτλο Τσάι στη Σαχάρα κατά την ελληνική κυκλοφορία της ταινίας, ένας τίτλος που με δυσκολία αγγίζει ακόμα και τα όρια της τουριστικής προσέγγισης της ταινίας. Τίτλος ασύνδετος πλήρως με το περιεχόμενο της ταινίας. Σας ευχαριστώ για το βίντεο με την υπέροχη μουσική εικόνα.

Your country is beautiful indeed. I only visited northern part of it and my favorite town was Fez. I hope someday I get a chance to see magnificent southern part of your home land after seeing Sheltering Sky movie. It reminded me of Yazd in my home land Iran or believe it or not Pueblo Village north of Santa Fe New Mexico.
