Blessings and Peace be upon you. These times are so challenging on those of us left behind. Take solace knowing the bliss that they are entering. March 5 was 55 years since my mother passed away; March 24 was 31 years for my father. They were the dearest people. I feel them with me and the love on earth transcends into that place where we all have our final destiny. A reunion of unbelievable beauty awaits us. That beauty is touched in this music; it is what touched his heart. He will never truly leave you!

A love history, also one of recovered (found?) humanity. * Rachael rebels being a Replicant by loving Deckard. Love like Death cannot give answers, yet it is one of the best lives anyone can get. * Decard decides to love a Replicant, a "subhuman" like the ones he had to "retire". * Roy discovers compassion and empathy just before he dies. The Tears in the Rain scene is so powerful in so many levels. Also, by not taking Deckard's life when the huntsman became the prey, he interrupts the cycle of hatred.

She was soooo beautiful. Sean Young played this part with such innocence and vulnerability.... and then there is Harrison to save the day... ❤️
@grahamh.42303 жыл бұрын
I feel like you're misinterpreting both characters. Rachael is not really "innocent," which is another factor that makes the fact that she's a replicant even more shocking to her. She is fatalistic and formal. Deckard does not save the day in any way. He is a complex character whose internal questioning leads him to mistreat Rachel and have reservations about his occupation and his interests. He exudes much more frustration than heroism. I don't know which cut of the film you've seen, but in the Final Cut (which is regarded by everyone involved in the film and the majority of people in general to be the greatest version) Deckard's actions leave himself and Rachael basically psychologically broken people by the end of the movie.

@gianfrancoghironi71172 жыл бұрын
Grazie dell'apprezzabile contributo. Buona giornata. Ciao! :-)

I just love this movie....it still hold up over 30 years later. Wonderful mood, visuals, music....I consider it a perfect Sci Fi movie. Rutger Hauer's Tears in the Rain in the end still gives me shivers. Thank you for putting this together!

That Hauer’s monologue in the closing scene was the entire meaning of the movie.Androids do have feelings.Or to rephrase,Androids can create feelings based to their emotions.Emotions and feelings may be sounding the same but it’s a different thing.Emotions originate as sensations in the body(that happened to Hauer experienced all the described things he saw in his monologue)Feelings are influenced from emotions but are generating from our mental thoughts(and here’s the whole point of the movie meaning,androids can use their “brains” to create feelings based to their emotions).

I remember renting it on VHS, it was a Friday, I was slightly miffed as I wasn’t going out. I put the tape in the machine, had a few smokes out of the window, for ever a Bladerunner fan since that Friday night. 10/10

The film seems to be the full visualization of the musical notes, or the music, the exact sound of the captured moment. They are inseparable. A splendid film, with an impeccable musical background.

Used to go on nightwalks to the blade runner soundtrack. But the best part was the last bit around the park with this song on. It was lonely but a good way and with the music and the darkness, My mind entered this trance like state and life seemed like a dream. Thank you Vangelis for this beautiful piece of music RIP
