Happy Sabbath About suicide You made a point as to what you said, to a person that knows God or has a relationship with Christ. The enemy attacks the minds of the saints of God, but also attacks those that don’t know God maybe wasn’t introduced to God. A lot of people that suffer with mental illness that may not be able to deal with the suffering going on in their mind so I feel we need to keep an open mind to those suffering with issues that some of much may not comprehend. Not dismissing what the Bible saids but we should keep an open mind as to what causes this and if they have Jesus in there mind or not

Addressing the comment about a "requirement" for pastors to have children: There are pastors and their wives who are not able to physically have children. Yes, they might be able to adopt or foster, but this may not be in God's plan. There are other ways/experiences to understand shepherding children besides being a parent. I think we should be careful and sensitive to each pastor and his wife. He may be young and widowed also, but that doesn't make him inadequate as a pastor to counsel families. The Holy Spirit knows best how the pastor's ministry can best serve and glorify God.
