They are eager to do righteous works; they compete in doing them. (Quran 23:61)

Participants on The Shia Voice Season 2 - will recite Quran, Noha, Latmiyya, Poetry, Majlis, Public Speaking.
With the aim of encouraging the youth of the west to serve the Ahlulbayt (as), we are scouring the globe and kick-starting Ramadan with the first round of auditions to find the next Shia voice. So sit back, relax, get your phones out and share your videos with family and friends. Turn the volume up and witness the Shia Voice.
72 candidates from all around the UK and Europe will be on stage where they will come face to face with the fiercest foursome (a panel of four judges) and compete for a place in the semi finals.

As a Sunni I agreed with the sister the Shia Minority have every right to express their views without being shut down with nonsensical accusations of Islamophobia or having extremists doing takfir. The movie might not be to everyone's taste but people need to stop behaving like thugs everytime they are faced with something they disagree with.

True, but the movie is still very distasteful and provocative. Needless to say that the director of this movie is celebrating the death of the wife of the prophet s. The condition for peaceful coexistence is to have mutual respect. Celebrating the death of a revered individual in sunni islam cannot be tolerated. If shias won't tolerate taradhi for the Sahaba like Hz Umar, fair enough I accept it. But considering this basis, shias and sunnis will never ever be able to live in peace and harmony with each other. You have your religion and we have our religion. We should stop to pretend to be brothers if in reality we hate each other.

Would you tolerate someone who burns the Quran, makes fun about our prophet pbuh and Allah? I hope not. The same way, movie like this cannot be tolerated. There will always be extremists and thugs among protestors, be an individual has every right to express his stance against something on a legal basis. You would do the same and the shias would and can also do the same. What we have to tolerate and to accept is the law of the country we live in. That being said, there will always be people on this earth who have sickness in their hearts and who try to spread fasad on earth. This will never stop. May Allah guide us all. Amin.

Also I believe the Shia community have been bullied into a corner and been restricted in many ways from uttering what their views are in public, there is no unprovocative way to express the Shia version of events, it needed to be done, I don't get the Shia who were happy to have people doing takfir of them and sat on the fence regarding the film, they didnt defend themselves or their version of events and as a Sunni if I ever became Shia I am not joining the group that said we can't support the movie because of the producer of the movie, I actually have more respect for him then I do the people who are happy to turn the other cheek in such matters.

@@Anony_mous5001 My brother, there are certain things in our deen where we cannot compromise. I respect Shias and the love they have for AhlulBayt. However, I despise their extremism and shirk with regards to the AhlulBayt. Many shias claim that we have different Gods, different Prophets and so on. The entity might not be different but our understanding certainly is. Taking this into account, we cannot be brothers in faith. But still we should have mutual respect as human beings who try to please Allah swt (or the AhlulBayt in the eyes of shias). They can make as many movies as they like, I don't mind. But they also should accept other muslims raising their voice against such insults as long as it is in accordance to the law of course. I also condemn these violent thugs who protested against this movie. All in all, shias and sunni can and will never unite, this is a fact. Peaceful coexistence might only work as long as we respect the law of the country we live in.

This is a brilliant show. Well done to the team behind this. Mashallah. I loved Nazar Qatari's part. Soo entertaining- especially Ammar's "who cares, Ali Ali Mawla!" Legit made me LoL. 😂 Just one pointer though, Sheikh Nazar, please, we Shia need to enjoy being happy. You lifted all our spirits with your performance but ended with a Maqtal of Imam Hussein to dampen the mood. Can we be happy and stay happy at times? Not everything has to always be sad. This, and also, Shia Voice team, please give the titles of the Nohas or Quranic verses being recited and, if possible, English translation of any foreign words. I know it's extra work, but would really help many of us not need to skip through the parts of the contestants that we don't enjoy but can at least learn something from what they're saying. Otherwise, great job, I love this program. Cannot wait to see the Finals and for Season 3 next year!

Shia voice Season 2 was better, stronger, and tougher! Insightful and entertaining commentary by all 4 judges. Stellar performances by Salma, Hussain Taft, Alamdar, and Sayhan. Salma had great stage presence and excellent delivery- Bravo! I loved the energy and animated style of Hussain and Sayhan (the kiddo with glasses). Both were super impressive and super cute. Would love to get Alamdar's album if he has one! What a melodious voice! Couldn't watch all the episodes as they're way too long but absolutely amazing content! Thank you for this marvelous show.

Looking forward to the finals, well done to the whole team of Shia voice season 2 ✨ Mulla NazarAli is definitely the best, like Dr.Syed Ammar said ALI ALI ALI ALI (every episode should start and end with him reciting that 🫶🏻) Also people thought in season 1 mulla NazarAli is harsh (he was not it’s his style or it could be a language barrier thing) and in the season 2 they think mulla Syed Mesum Abbas is harsh, i think he is not harsh he is fair (adil) to all of them as he knows his work. Also look at the quality of the contestants going to the finals, indeed all four of them know their craft very well.

Yawar Abbas should have went through. As mullah nizar puts it “play in your area”. Yawar abases voice was so soothing so transient it didn’t need rhythm or any other sort of verbatim. The rhythm hid his beautiful voice. It was no fair to him. The other Noah reciter that went through had the exact same style of noha as yawar and he went through. Yawars noha was of much higher quality compared to his but he was denied because he couldn’t play in rhythm. Not everyone needs rhythm.

I think the Kalam that was given to Syed Yawar should have been of Ustaad Nusrat fateh Ali shahe mardan or of Shafqat Amanat ali 's ya Alii something like that.its another thing that the kalaam he recited was absolutely brilliant but it was a solo item not involving the crowd which should have been done.
