Shields are a bit stronger in a few ways, but they're far from broken. Plus they lost a few other strengths, and still get hard countered by every trap, and explosive, so now, they're just... Reworked really...

yeah, most of his 'thats insane' clips could have been done with the live shields. This change just makes shields LESS stressful and work more intuitively for both attackers and defenders. Taking away hipfire rng fishing; giving the suppression debuff so you can kite shields; defenders got a quality of life upgrade too.

It’s a very rare occurrence to fight like three guys at once and your only option is to reload behind the shield. Idk it just seems to me like this video doesn’t really show the shield rework being broken as much as it shows him being cracked at siege

@@redpipola reloading doesn’t take that long and, again, if you’re facing one guy and ADS to kill you probably can reload anywhere because you killed the current threat. Facing more than 2 enemies at once is a death sentence as a shield because unless they’re both directly in front of you someone is gonna have an angle of your sides, yknow?

Blitz is still the only 2 speed and can still flash, which is extremely effective if you know how to use Blitz’s gadget effectively
