for me this song always felt like it was talking about all the bonds and connections that the characters had and made with that person that is precious to them ex: sonic to amy, cosmo to tails, shadow to Maria and Molly, Chris to sonic, cream to emerl and her mom. Those come to mind to me when I hear this song and bc of that I have to sing along to it or hum it or I would just start bawling on the spot. Most of the time I listen to this song (Not just this version, Even the original Japanese version), I always cry, It's just sad seeing Tails having to kill the one that he loves most, Sonic X really deserves a continuation, at least show a check on Tails' Cosmo plant that was shown in the end of Sonic X, Maybe this could happen in Sonic Prime, I just REALLY hope that Cosmo and tails could see each other again.
