I've been watching a lot of videos to get ideas before my trip next year and have been enjoying yours so much! I love that you always include some historical context, and there are always lots of unique places and things to do in your videos ❤ Oh, and Billiken kind of freaks me out a little😄but I'd still touch his feet for good luck! 🤭

Thanks for the video! I had a feeling that Dotonbori was a tourist trap.

Excellent choice of retro background music and content. Find Billiken a bit creepy

We didn’t have time for Shinekei on our first trip, so made time on our second trip. Sadly we went on a Wednesday and nearly everything was closed! So disappointing, maybe third time will be the charm.

Hi, thanks for your videos. Loved it. Will both shinsekai and Dotonburi be opened on 1 Jan?

A lot of places in Japan are open on New Years, but I'd double check with their websites!

hallo i wacht you're vlog very helpful how ever can i ask if you have time to give information for very affordable hotel near in osaka
@piqtourjapanАй бұрын
Hi! I don't have any specific recommendations but I recommend checking out business hotels and capsule hotels for the cheapest options! Pretty much all hotels in Japan are clean and fairly nice, so even at cheap places you shouldn't feel unsafe or particularly uncomfortable. :) hope that helps.

Hi i want to ask. At what time you went to shinsekai to buy baby castella? Bcs i read that many shops closed if it's before 10 or 11 am. I want to have that as breakfast 😢

Yeah I think it was noon-ish. And yeah, most street food won't open til those times.

as a photographer, can you recommend any good vantage points in Osaka or Kyoto that aren't an observation deck? Preferably rooftops I won't get arrested trying to access :P lol I'm hoping to get some street shots from 2-3 stories up.

Been to Osaka twice and had a lot of fun at Shinsekai. The kushikatsu place reminds me of my fave in Tokyo called Kushizaru. Much better than Daruma.
