Came here randomly due to the quality I could smell about to ooze out of your video, and I was not wrong. I like everything about the Avengers except for the Cold War style cockpit and nearness of buttons to MFD functions, but during the IAE I rented a Stalker, and what not a lot of people know is that you can use a Titan or Stalker as a dropship which is faster than the other variants and can easily have 6 troops in the cells if you want to do it right, or a mob inside, ready to run out. Not many $55-70 ships are as multi role as the Avenger series. :D
@tunnelrat43482 жыл бұрын
You have a way of romanticizing the process of buying a starter ship for prospective players like myself. I enjoyed the analysis. Disagree with the ramp and cargo bay assessement, because the Cutty shines too brightly in this regard, but, on everything else, you seem to be bang on when juxtaposed with other KZbin vids I've watched on both ships. Thank you for providing this. Appreciated.

I've just come across this video and found myself saying "Yep!" in response to just about every statement. _Really_ enjoyable video - thanks! This video is an excellent compilation of all the ways the Titan "just works!". I'm eternally grateful for the advice received on forums a couple of years back when I was vacillating over "melting" the Mustang for the Avenger Titan - _Never looked back!_ Whilst I have a couple of bigger ships in SC now, I still often fly the Titan. - In fact, I've just had a few sessions in it to learn dogfighting, SC style on Illegal Monitors missions (I'm a fairly recent E:D "refugee" and I've hitherto avoided ship combat in SC. Have only recently started playing SC 'properly', though I've briefly "dabbled" here and there for years)

I have a Gladius, Defender, and MSR purchased...I know, a bit of cash, but no monthly, so it evens out after time. Here are my reasons for owning this ship...no particular order: 1. You can enter straight to pilot seat. 2. The cargo hold is more useful than ever with looting now. 3. It claims in 45 second!!! 4. Great for many/most missions and bounties up to VHRT. 5. Small enough to fit into tight places.

The backstory of the ship makes it even more appealing because it's another thing that grounds it back to reality with our modern day. The Avenger is truly a starter ship, but it's a *PREMIUM* one I'd say, the bed of the Aurora compared to the Avenger alone is soemthing I'd pay that difference for in universe. ...AND I get a Cargo bay on top of that? Nice video. I am an original backer who has played off and on every few patches. Patiently watching and losing myself in the game when i do play. Im not a money grinder. Over the years, ive upgraded my pledge little by little and ended up in a mercury star runner. Recently, i melted my package and picked up a freelancer and gladius exactly for the reason stated at the end. It feels so great to go around in a less complicated vessel and be able to play with what systems we have. For org’s or people who play with friends all the time, the multicrew gameplay is very rewarding and great fun, but if you play alone, get an Avenger, Freelancer or other similar sized ship and just take you time and enjoy the game for what it is (remember that progress will be reset from time to time)

I might not play Star Citizen, although I have to respect the production and writing of his videos. I tend to avoid using wording like this just due to the low-brow nature of it and overuse to the point where it's lost its significance as a word, but apt enough to say that calling the video artwork ran through my head a few times, which added to my surprise when seeing his channel has such low viewer and subscriber counts. Formatting, production, choice of music, and the intentional pause in each of his sentences for emphasis - The kind of video style you don't really see outside of cultural and media deep dives applied to something more mundane like simple ship reviews. Gives the funny brain tingle.
