I’ve picked up a lot of Gospel of Two Wheels since finding this channel: 1. An ultrasonic spa with Fabuloso. 2. A Milwaukee Sure Shot and bulk CRC Brak-Kleen. 3. Learning to remove a primary gear with an impact driver while pushing in on the clutch pack. 4. Learning of the existence of Millenium Technologies, Crank Works, and Wösner - game changer! Thanks for helping us out Morgan. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

To Morgan and others, please wear a helmet. My childhood best friend unloaded a new motorcycle for his son maybe 10 years ago and flipped it back on himself somehow. In the process he hit his head, received major brain damage, and was never again able to communicate like the talker he was before. He ran a pest control business and talking was his bread and butter.

Would it be a better option to do the TSP injector kit on a TPI bike over buying a new TBI bike?

Aloha Morgan, I got a question. I just did this whole setup, bike runs amazing. However, I am not a fan of the plug for the unused injector port. But my bike is now throwing the CCP sensor code. And I’m wondering if this is correlated to the relocation kit or not? Mahalo!

Shouldn’t be. That kit doesn’t do anything with the CCp. I would check all your connections

Thats very strange on the relocation kit. We did my sons 2021 with the tsp kit but they didn't offer a relocation kit. So his the relocation block from best dualsport . It works flawless. Also my 22 erzbergrodeo has the Rktec head and G.E.T ecu and relocation kit which also relocates both injectors . I am curious as to why you would only move one injector/ what would be the advantage when then moving both works flawless? Trying to learn !
@bryanha792 жыл бұрын
They say having one TPI and one TBI makes it a little more mellow and is better for enduro. I also have the best dual sport plate and it works great. They (BDS) just came out with a split kit that allows you to put one injector back in the head and leave the other in the plate.

I used a gopro screw and a spring from the hardware store for my idol screw this time around. Had the Slavens on my first TPI. So. The injector relocation kit. Something you'd recommend to TPI owners? How was the throttle response compared to stock TPI? I already have the TSP power kit (hi compression) only reason I did it was because of the horror stories of top end failures. TSP adds a lot more oil at start up and throughout the fuel curve. Did the top end at 105 hrs and could have easily gone to 150 based on the opinion of a friend that used to build race motors.
@highlandcycles2 жыл бұрын
I definitely recommend it. Much better throttle response

I deleted the oil injection because you never know when the oil pump reduces or stops its output until the motor siezes. My 2022 KTM 300 XC TPI seized 2 times in the 1st 7.4 hours. KTM put a new crate motor & oil pump in it the 2nd time. I proved the 2nd motor then removed the oil injection so it will not seize and leave me stranded. TPI with oil injection is stupid and an engineering f up. Imagine injecting straight gas into the transfer port then into the cylinder with no lube on every start. Stupid. I used bestdualsportbikes oil deletion kit & relocation system. Also a Slavens head and Coober ECU. It runs excellent, instant throttle response, and controllable power everywhere. No screw type clamps on my bike.

I also adjusted the throttle body air bypass screw from 3.5 turns out to 1.5 turns out (richening it). This made a big improvement.

Cant see any reason to move the injectors or to add oil from stock. I ride mostly sand and I ride when its 110 plus and can get over 200 hours out of a piston. Seems like a money grab from all these companies.
