Our history books mentioned the trade between China and African countries since some 1,200 years ago. In particular, Ethiopia and Somalia had very close trading relationship with China. The other day I watched the video of a African woman recording the life of a 12-year-old village girl performing household duties in this very poor Hut. It is videos like that that only continues promote the negative stereotypes that Africans are all living in villages and are severely poor instead of her doing videos promoting the sophistication of their cities and universities she goes and does the complete opposite.
