NUMBER 1 in the revolution of my world view was to ask myself what children are seeing in my dress and behavior. To do that I go back and think about when, where, what, how, who, and why I became "sexual". For example, first instance I remember was around 2-3 years old watching Sonny and Cher, Cher in particular, with my parents and saying "look my pee pee is sticking up". EPIPHANY from there I began to track my "sexual evolution". Who , what, when, where, etc.. For example 70s cut off shorts, my face was at crotch level, seeing, smelling, even touching when given a hug. Movies, Music, Sears Catalog (underwear), then Brooke Shields made it okay for children to be sexual (The Blue Lagoon). Although I went to church, this hypersexualization fueled in church fantasy. Then porn and the increased desensitization and loss of shame and deconstruction of modesty. After I decided to discipline myself it took about 4 years of see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil, think no evil, avoiding the beach, women in make up, yoga pants, shorts, etc. to free my mind and now I'm not interested in sex anymore BUT the church is so hypersexualized they tell me celibacy isn't normal. I don't want to be married and I'm not interested in sex. I didn't realize how free and relaxed I could be to think about other things when I began to see Pastors telling everyone they should be married as demonic and possessed by the spirit of the age. There are 7 deadly sins, lust is just one of them, but the most insightful thing I heard about lust was from Hannibal Lector in Silence of the Lambs "what do we lust for Clarice? What we see everyday". Here's another gem from someone else "the culmination of lust is not sex, it's cannibalism".

Wow. This is my exact story. I am so so grateful this came onto my timeline. I’ve been HAPPILY married for almost 8 years, and we have two beautiful daughters. Growing up, I never believed I would marry a man. I sat in church next to my girlfriend junior and senior year every Sunday in high school. I felt a bit convicted, but in my teenage stubbornness, I would pray and say, “God I love you, I’m living for you, loving my girlfriend doesn’t change that.” And I resolved to be a lesbian who loved God, and all was going to be well. I met my husband my second year in college, and we started the same way, just talking. He lived an hour away, so we talked ALL the time. When I finally saw him I was so giddy, it frightened me! When we decided to get together 6 months later, I went thru a lot, figuring out what the heck was going on! My now husband was so gracious and patient. We married 3 years after we started dating. Even through our biggest struggles, I have always felt SO blessed, and God has SHOWN us how blessed our union is on more occasions than I can count. Thank you Lord for Deliverance! Thank you Lord for this video! I’ve felt SO alone in this all these years!

Just remember that there isn't anything uniquely bad about you. You have your temptations sin just like every other Christian. Yes, God may someday deliver you from any and all temptation towards the same sex ever again. But He might not, just like with most straight Christians there is always, even into old age, temptation towards the opposite sex in an improper/sinful manner. Christ's sacrifice and mercy is sufficient for you even if you always struggle with this. And further, you can still live a victorious and joyful life in for Christ even if you have to always deny yourself in this area as part of following Him. God bless you Kris!

6:28 is the absolute key to helping them possibly overcome their issue. The sad truth about drug issues is most of society decides that it's just a personal issue and never try to fix the true underlying cause but sexual attraction might be worse because most people assume it's something people are born with but it's not. I dare say that basically 99% of all LGBT issues stem out of what she mumbles under her breath at 6:28. Usually because that abuse comes from in home, family or friends. Not always but usually. 78% of LGBT people self report sexual abuse as a minor generally before age 10 but even before the age 7 permanent development stage. If everyone took care of their kids exactly how they need to be treated from 1-7 it would fix most of the problems of the world. Discipline of love.

I think what she said at the end really encapsulated it: "Nuance". Our culture has become so polarized and binary (despite objections to the contrary) that the nuance in emotion and healing is often glossed over. Unpacking the reality that sexual attraction, emotional attraction, and degrees of admiration can all exist together or separately in different relationships. However, it's our personal moral code of ethics, combined with our experiences, that determines how we respond to those feelings.

Its not a sin, its a temptation, there is a difference
@nicholaschrist10866 ай бұрын
@@bunonmyhead if it were only a temptation, sure. I agree there. But if you keep committing the act then you are struggling and fighting that. And if the temptation becomes fantasies then in is adultry/homosexuality of the heart, which is a sin. My point being, you are a MAN made in the image of God or a WOMAN made in the image of God and not "Gay" root your identity in Christ and not in a sexual sin.

Couldn't find it either. It could be custom-made. Get the font close enough to the one here and have one made for yourself - since there aren't any in online stores, you'll have a unique piece for yourself.

Kudos to her for denying her flesh like that in obedience to the Lord, but why the title tho? Gay christian is like saying a murdering christian, its a contradiction. She isnt living the gay lifestyle and therefore shouldnt identify herself in that way.

We live in a fallen world and we all battle our own giants. But I think claiming to a "gay christian" is not the right way to express the battle. Struggling with same sex attraction is definitely a demonic influence ( just as many things are) but we serve a big God who sacrificed his only Son to bridge the gap so that we can be free from sin. I believe that this woman is well on her way to real freedom in Christ! Keep fightin' the good fight sis.

JESUS died for our sins, and then was resurrected so that we could live again in him! JESUS came to set the captives free of sin, not for us to live in it. God can change anyone, but we have to want it. The way we can do that is through the Holy Spirit teaching us, leading us and guiding us into all Truth!🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏

I can’t say with complete certainty that I wouldn’t say something foolish on camera over the course of hundreds of hours, but at 0:00 Ruslan casually calls out the gay and celibate Christian communities as “same-same.” My guy, our savior was celibate. Priests that are genuinely convicted to obeying God are celibate, same goes for some of the most authentic and influential Christians that ever lived. Careful not to deceive tens of thousands into thinking those doing God’s will are sided with Satan. I’ve appreciated your backstory and your work so far and still believe you represent Christ well, but I couldn’t sit by and let that slide. Keep up the good work👍

A lot of gay people in my country often still falls to their deepest love. Gay men having children and great relationship with their wives, Gay women still having deep relationship with their husbands.

The whole purpose of the walk in Christ is about self-denial. Jesus didn't want to die but he denied the fear of the flesh and obeyed God and we must do the same. The will of God is be fulfilled in earth IN His people, and we are just benifcators of His grace.

I’ve only heard of this happening with women I’ve never heard of this happening with gay men.

Yes, I was thinking about this. I have seen a few men say they have been freed of SSA but rarely. Just reading the comments I see a few ppl claiming to be no longer SSA and they are all women so far. It's believed women's sexuality is less fixed than men's, I can see that. Most lesbians I've met have had previous relationships with men, even marriages but the same is not so with most gay men I've met. Interesting.

Hearing testimonies like this man… we have no excuse! U can either give in to sinful desires or u can fight! But one thing for sure, God has a plan for all our lives that’s 100% perfect, 100% good!🥲💙🙏🏽
