In my opinion: Typically signs follow believing. Threatening to kill an unbeliever tends to bring the opposite effect. It would show an illustrative contextual nature as well. So where are the signs to this knowledge? You know Jews didn't care much for any new signs & act more like angry hens on a chicken farm. The past needs to show the living truth in this moment, not way down the road killing off everyone on the way there. Peace wouldn't exist without justice. From an outside view it appears like tribal warfare. What if it was that two far off ancient civilizations met & told all of their stories & one side refused to believe the other. If so, what contextual nature would ensue in scripture there after? So enlighten us on the signs that follow. One just can't say or have others say they would be a prophet without some signs from the All Mighty to confirm it. Or is there another way to this like with the Bible Christians who worship literal words on paper more than actual reality?

I'm a Muslim but I know their perspective somewhat. They denied Esa because the Tanakh which is what Christians would consider old testament, have its description of the mesiach and this description does not fit him according to the Jews. They expect the mesiach to come and the world will be completely at peace and everyone agrees with the mesiach. But they don't believe or understand that this will happen in Esa second coming not the first. They have their own evidence that second coming doesn't exist, but that's the gist of it. Islam bridges all these scattered fact and explain everything clearly between the misunderstanding of the Christians and the Jew.

Well according to a knowledgable jew. He said that the reason for them rejecting prophet Muhammed pbuh was that there are 2 test mentioned in Torah which a person has to qualify to become a prophet. Number 1: his teachings must match with torah, and only by qualifying this first test second has to be considered. Now according to torah you cannot have camel and rabbit but prophet allowed it. Neglecting this the second test is that The person should give prophecy of something unusual to happen in near future plus he must disclose all the happenings down to minute details. For example tomorrow at 6 PM there will be rain of blood, now here even if the rain comes at 5:55 pm he is not regarded as a prophet according to Jews because a true prophet knows down to minute details. Educate me if I am wrong

Which are the criteria of Qur'an to identify a prophet or the mesiah?.. For example in Torah there is Deut 18 for prophets, besides that a prophet cannot deviates his teachings from Torah's mitzvoth. Also not a person has fell into Isaiah Cap 11 criteria for the root of Jesse that Children of Israel is waiting. Some type of reincarnation of David. What kind of tests made muslims to Muhammed when he was alive to know if the man was a prophet or not?. Which are the criteria? Which are the rules? Prophet Muhammad, is a prophet for Land of Arab. Because back then Arab land is full of idol worshipper.
