Thompson is the one that people gonna look up to in the Olympic hundred meter final. It’s gonna be a masterpiece. I know everybody’s getting nervous. Let’s keep him in our prayer that he stay healthy in my book. He is the favorite win the 100 m final at the Olympic chant for the 4 x 100 m final is very good. We can also win that one.

People out there big mad because, after injuries, he spent a very long time on improvement rather than racing. You can see what 1 year in the gym did to his body. He's stronger, therefore Iess injury prone now. Suck it up all the negative commenters out there.

Goes to show what focussing on only a few sports can do for a country! U.S. is huge in comparison but has so many more choices for the kids growing up when it comes to choice of sport, whereas in Jamaica kids are involved in Athletics from early and often stick with it through high school and beyond. I recon if Jamaica had more focus and funding in sports where being fast benefits them the most, like Rugby Union and Rugby 7s, they'd dominate those sports too

Kishane Thompson reminds of legend British speedster Linford Christer.0 Let me say this why Kishane Thomson's is running at explosive speed...The law of physics is at work.here.Running on a straight line when it is supplemented eith force creats that velocity that is required or needed. The power excerted by Kishane Thompson's body frame gives him the edge to outrun all his competitors.. That is not opinion but the fact of Newton's law of motion...

He is listed at 6 foot 1 170 pounds. Im sure he is heavier than at that. That seems light for his size. I think at lest 180 to 185 pounds. Noah lyles is listed at 154 pounds 5 foot 11. I would say he is at least 165 pounds. But then again Tyson gay was only 165 pounds at 5 foot 11 and fairly muscular. So i don't really know. It just what it looks like to me.

He is incredibily strong but I don't think he can be considered a game changer, like Usain Bolt or Carl Lewis or Bob Hayes or Jesse Owens. K. Thompson is a dominant sprinter but in any sense he can be viewed as the new Bolt. He is the new Powell or Blake. Not bad, not bad at all, I might add 😎

Not necessarily ☝️ Blake, for example, or Tyson Gay were two extraordinary sprinters, that only Bolt could beat. Despite this, they can't be put in the magic circle of the game changers. So, I think Thompson will dominate the stage until the rise of a game changer like Bolt.

Kishane Thompson had no college career, no pro career and a PB of 10.21 in 2022, from 10.21 to 9.85 in a single year being completely mediocre before? Come on, think about it
@user-oq7ji2rx4l
@user-oq7ji2rx4l 15 күн бұрын
@RecursiveENTP. Michael Jordan was cut from his HS basketball team because he wasn't "the one" yet. Dennis Rodman was 5'11" as a a HS Freshman and left HS at 6'8' inches tall. As a HS Junior Bronny James (Labron James' son for those who dont know) could hardly dunk the basketball and a year later during his senior season he won some dunk contest at the same height he was a a junior. These things are incredible but doesn't mean "drugs" are involved. The 10.21 he ran in 2022 was his introduction to the professional ranks while managing injuries. You get better the more training and races you run if the potential is there. Kishane has been managing injures all his HS and now senior career and those were the reasons most people didn't know him. He's with one of the best if not the best coach who has gotten a handle on his injuries for the most part and now he can train properly. Kishane is now getting his man strength now that he can train properly and we're seeing the results. Why you guys think all of this so so very strange is understandably because the USA and Russia has been two of countries that cheats more than any other country over the years. Kishane will be tested thoroughly at the Olympics and every meet he enters and IF he's guilty he'll be caught and he wont get away with the Oxtail excuse. Jamaica doesn't have any secret "drug" that we invented to cheat. We dont have the money or the technology to invent drugs to beat the system. So I say again.....IF he's guilty he'll be caught so just chill and join Noah's sentiment that Kishane remains healthy. Noah wants to line up against him so let not deny him his wish 🙂

Going on this generation of sprinters i think a 9.7 will only be needed to beat lyles just look at lyles progress over the past few years he's hardly improved gone from 9.85 to only 9.83 then look at Thompson last year 9.9 then 9.85 a big jump then this year 9.82 i think in his first race this year then 9.85 or 86 and 9.77 and in every single one of those races he shut it down before the line he basically ran faster than lyles pb in 2 out of 3 races and wasn't even trying all the way compared to lyles at his championship he was trying and still only ran 9.83 still slower than 2 Jamaica guys

Kishane’s physic seems questionable, shows a tendency towards drug use, almost similar to the Ben Johnson of Canada’s case. If he passes the drug tests and wins, then all the cheers to him, but if it shows up positive and he wins it would be unfair to the other competitors.
