Park Soe joon is a special actor. Some actors inhabit a role becoming the character they portray. I watch his films and tv series because his acting has that quality. I guess that is why he has so many awards. 😊 He is like Korea's Brad Pitt. I do not like scrary movies, but I really loved Gyeongseong Creature. The female lead is one of my favorite actresses. The two together had the chemistry everyone always talks about. I started watching Korean tv series during the actor's strike in suport of the screen writers. I got a neck injury in 1996. I've had so many surgeries I've lost count. I'm handicapped, and in bed 24/7 and the discovery of Korea tv and film has been really great. It also helped me de-stress over the presidential campaign. It has been really frightening, especially when Trump talks about how much he likes Kim Jong il and Putin. I've lived in Europe for about 6 years all together, and my husband had been in Vietnam, and later? he had gone to Taiwan, Hawaii, and Japan. So, I have always liked foreign films. The first tv series that Soe-joon was in was "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim". In Gyeongseong Creature, Soe-joon inhabits the character he plays you forget his physical appearance (because he is very good-looking). It was like reading a good book....you can't put the book down. That is was watching Creature was like...I was totally absorbed. I didn't even care that the ending was sad. I didn't realize there was a second part until last month. I'll watch it again...I do that because when you are reading sometime you miss the cinematography. So, thank you Park Soe-joon...you are wonderful at your craft and it brings me 😊 joy.

Love his acting. It is not an easy choice to become an artist. Its a daring task. You are entering a very competitive business with uncertainty in income and crueling working hours. You really have to burn for it. On top of that, especially in S.K., you have little to no private life and one step over that line can cancell you. Your psyche has to be strong or you have to grow it along the way. I really admire all of the korean artist that makes it.

I haven't watched all of his work, but really...how can you choose? 😊 I got hooked on Korean programs and films during the screen writers and actors strike. The quality of the acting was addictive. I soon started watching the work of certain actors. The first thing I watched by Soe Joon was "What is Wrong With Secretary Kim", and "Poet Worriors". I have to admit "Gyeongseong Creature" was incredibly. I didn't know there was going a part 2, but the story really did screamed for closure. I wasn't disapointed. The story also informers how important screen writers are. Korean film (movies and tv) marries great stories with great actors like Park Seo Joon. It's no wonder he is so popular in Korea. Everyone writes about how good Itaewon Class is. I will differently have to watch it. Where do I find the time to watch all these films? I'm handicapped with a spinal cord injury and spend most of my time in bed. I have a degree Ina Graphic Arts. When I'm not working on something because I have nerve damage in my hands, I love watching films. Anything that takes my mind off pain is great. Stories like "Gyeongseong Creature" take you to another time and place, and that is healing.

Nonsense! He said in an interview HE wants a wife who is not interested in public career but likes to be home with the kids, cause he wants a family. Thats not sexism, thats HIS personal life concept as a public person. MEN do have the right equal to women for a prefered partnership. More over Koreans decide to have 0 - 1 children cause the education and needs incl. university are very expensive. And they all want the best education and study for their child. (See all actors studied before acting career!) As an European woman I always wanted to have big family, several children, house, pets ... its the absolutley LUXURY TO STAY HOME WHILE YOUR HUSBAND EARNS THE MONEY AND HAVE ALL RESPONSIBILITY !! But European men dont want to be "the idiot to have the responsibility alone for life costs" and thats why I didnt get one to marry, i am the idiot by myself who is working since decades... SEO JUN is a generous, protecting and caring man , raised by wonderful sweet parents who have raised 2 top stars in entertainment and sports and a very successful youngest son. Mom is their dearest advisor and dad a respected tutor. Seo Jun wants the same quality for his own family and I adore him for this mind set. I hope he gets it all soon cause he is a very loving uncle and will be best father. Sexism is totally different! E,g, when a woman is alone responsible for contraceptiva in a partnership!!! 72% are!!
