Hey Gaijin - When a battle rating is determined for a vehicle, is it based on the stock configuration (no modifications researched) or on the elite / spaded configuration (all modifications researched)? There are some vehicles that really seem to struggle at their battle rating, until most or all modifications are researched and purchased. Thanks.

However I do know that they experimented with different designs/chassis or other vehicles, but with different gun calibers. Let alone there would be a ton of Russian MBTs and T-72s. Not to mention the already large swarm of T-72s already in game! The planes however are very unique

Why does the naval trees have to split so that you cant use a 4.7 frigate to research some 3.7 destroyer. Why cant it be split like all the other tech trees with the small craft on the left hand side seperate to the larger ships on the right handside in THE SAME overall 'naval' tree

Wondering this, myself. At first I was really stoked when I heard that they'd be splitting the destroyers and proper ships out of the torpedo boat line, but I only recently found out that they'd be moved to entirely separate categories in the research menu rather than being given their own research lines like in every other tree. I don't foresee this going as well as Gaijin seems to think it will; the thing that kills me about it is that they were so close to making a good call, but are still going to end up missing it by a mile if they go ahead with the plan as it's been presented.

Q: Why Mi-24/25/35 have constructed body at an angle? You can see it from front, the both bubble cockpits are aligned straight, but the whole body after cockpits is swaying to one (right) side of the helicopter, together with turbines, rotor, and the crew compartment is falling to one side. It usually means it has a better engine than the regular version of that plane, usually they perform better.

do you mean slower initial acceleration? the spitfire has a rather sleek airframe while the 109's is boxy and less aerodynamic. the first 109 (Bf 109 B) also has a 700 hp engine as opposed to the 1000 hp engine in the spitfire 1a.
