just a correction, the israeli upgrade to the Tiran 4 (which itself was an upgrade to the Tiran 1 which itself is a virtually inmodified T-54) is called "Tiran 4Sh", and not "Tiran 4S" the 'Sh' stands for 'Sharir' as in the new 105mm Sharir cannon which was installed on it. P.S.: the Tiran 4Sh did not have a .50 cal, i see many people in the comments saying it had one. only the following tanks in the Tiran series had a .50 cal: * Tiran 5 * Tiran 5Sh * Tiran 6 * Ti-67S

air superiority fighters. bring a good ol' fighter in your lineup and when you reach an "ok bro thats it" moment, whip it out and burn those chungus aircraft that will be completly unaware of you (let alone be able to fly defensively due to all the bombs they carry). so far i had a good experience.

I do just this currently playing down Italy at 6.3 for ground and at the G.55 Serie 1 for planes. I find myself shooting down more planes than I do actually fighting other ground vehicles in a ground battle. This was also the reason for my Sottoserie 0 being spaded.

it's an oil cooler. Napier Sabre engines had a large "beard" oil cooler. the flap which goes up and down is the radiator, it opens when the engine is heating and closes when WEP is on

Question: In the Ground Forces USSR tech tree, there is some backwards Battle Rating Tanks along the ranks. For example the SPAA ZSU 23-4 is unlocked before the ZSU 37-2 but the ZSU 23-4 has a higher battle rating than the ZSU 37-4. Also with the T55-AMD1 is unlocked in the tech tree before the T62 but the Battle Ratings are backwards with the first Tank having a higher battle rating and the second tank having a lower battle rating. Why does war thunder do that?

Well, then even planes couldn't get into these areas.. so it doesn't make sense.. imagine flying a jet with 1000 km/h, then "crashing" into an invisible spawn protection wall.. If the enemy can kill you in your spawn, you and your team made a few mistakes. And you already have spawn protection+mini map warning

I like to see the ingenuity that nations use to extend the lives and increase the lethality of older MBTs. The Tiran series is one of my favorite, but the Romanian TR-85 is quite a good tank in it's own right. I hope that we can see that one in War Thunder at some point in the near future.
