In this week’s episode we join Mark Ripley (260Rips) as he heads out after foxes prior to the start of the lambing season. Armed with his custom 223 rifle and the new InfiRay TD50L nightvision scope from InfiRay, Mark has all the advantages he needs to put a few foxes in the bag, even when they think they are safely out of range.

Nice review Matt thanks for that. The Miroku MK11 is a lovely gun, nice to see it in action. I hope to have the chance of using one on our shoot in the very near future which may be up for sale. I'm already very tempted having only seen it.

Good stuff Mark, I’ve had a few Foxes that have run off after i switched the IR on, thats why I spent up and bought a Thermal scope. I can’t risk losing them during the Lambing. ☹️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Review was ok but wanted to ask: - What is the price bracket? - Why did you load the gun behind the shooting barrier? - Why discuss point and features when the gun is loaded with live carts? - No adjustable trigger? needed no adjust between summer and winter shooting - Does it come with a lockable case? - Are the chokes titanium or steel? - Did you say it was a side plate or full sidelock? Think this is more a review of gun performance rather than a full review... but was an OK effort :-)

THE PBir L had normaly 3 modes. Pusch they on/off button soft and you could Switch in THE single modes

Indeed it does but even the lowest setting is a bit much for close range shots 👍

Good shooting as always mark . Got a question for you . I've a sightmark wraith 4k max that I am having a few issues with . 1st problem is that when I adjust the magnification up from 4x to 5x , the reticle jumps in the scope . It also moves my bullets point of aim with it as well .I I'm assuming this is a glitch of some sort? As at the moment I am only using up to 4x . If anyone on this comment section has a wraith then I'd be interested to know if they have the same problem

Hi pal I had a similar problem with the Wraith HD (you ain't alone). My POI was 10" high at 100 meters 😬 bit fookin dangerous really! I ended up sending it back as updates had no effect. It came back with the same fault so I got shut. I really liked the scope though... so much so that I'm taking a punt and getting a new 4k max... fingers crossed. I've purchased from Optics Warehouse who have been bloody brilliant over the time I've been using them... dead helpful and so far, seem to be customer focused... lol... watch them screw me over next week after I've blown smoke up their arse.

@@MKChase-uj9vxhi mate. sounds like you have had a belly full of it as well . Very frustrating . Spoke to Scott country who I bought it off and they said its normal for the reticle to jump but that shouldn't affect the bullets aim point . Il have to send it back but can not really afford to be without it . I also had issues with the 1 shot zero on profile 1 so had to go to profile 2 and start from scratch. Its a good scope in terms of functions and simplicity of the menu interface and paired with the wicked lights ai 67 is superb but not if ive got no confidence with it .Il send it away before Easter . Any other issues with yours at all pal ?

Surprised you didn't give that fox a shout, I know it was running but normally stops them. Looked like another set of eyes when it stopped just before you shot it. Q for you, why do u never do your boots up?? 🤣

It’s also a dairy farm so some fields are used to grow maize, the fields immediately next to these are where ewes and lambs will be 👍
