@@GerritBarnard-v5k the Wolverine also has the same loose skin, but bigger. Bite force doesn't mean anything since it's relative, lions bully multiple hyenas who have higher bite forces. Dricus Du Plesis is a wolf in sheeps clothing. He is super powerful. Like.. bafflingly so. His muscles tense at the perfect timing and absolutely SLAM his opponent. Once he rocks them, if he senses unstable legs, he goes for kicks to chop or grappling to pin them while there are weak. If he sees they become uncoordinated and arent blocking, then he finishes with another great power shot. Everyone thinks he is sloppy, and it looks that way. But even so, he keeps landing right on the money, and ending fights with powershots.
@eachann79533 ай бұрын
he's powerful not because of his muscles. the muscles help but Dricus is so strong because of his bone structure. he has thick, dense bones. he's from a farming family and probably grew up on nothing but South African beef and raw milk

@eddiehauser66613 ай бұрын
Along with his skill and technique I think DDP's fight IQ gets overlooked as well. I think him, and his team, develop good strategies for each fight, and he does a good job of attacking guys' weaknesses. I think we will see that again this weekend, I think we'll see him push the pace against Izzy, keep the pressure on him, the way Sean did and had success, and also mix in a lot of takedowns and clinches, and use his strength advantage to make Izzy grapple

He’s MUCH more technical than ppl think. Anyone who’s ever taken lessons for years in various striking arts will know what I’m saying. He’s combining a few arts on the feet, but doing it brilliantly (and tremendous all around grappler). Hard to find someone who’s this good at the best aspects of at least 3 striking arts who’s also this strong, this athletic, and this technically great grappling. Top tier wrestler and BJJ submission artist of his division (except for maybe Bo and Khamzat in wrestling). Add his titanium chin, endless gas tank, and elite self belief? Dude’s a problem for any 185er
