Nice to see Bernie again. I used to go beating with him in Six Mile Bottom, Suffolk years ago. I left that shoot after one season, as the head keeper there was an absolute idiot. Nice show once again. Cheers!

On looking at the video again, I see that the Gun shot between a stick and the barrel of his second gun held by a loader, not between the sticks, so that it probably was a safe shot behind the butt. My mistake!

This Gun shot between the sticks! The idea of the sticks is that you shoot either in front of them or behind so that you don't shoot down the line and injure or kill your neighbour.

Watching this well-known host nonchalantly, amateurishly and carelessly bang together the delicate barrel sets from a magnificent pair of antique side-lever Grants as if they were the constituent parts of store-bought guns from Sears Roebuck, almost caused me to retch in disgust. How could you treat heirlooms and works of the gun-maker's art in such a reckless manner? You are but the temporal custodian of them; please be far more responsible. I would never allow you to handle one of my guns!
