A good rabbit session there, when i use to go lamping on the game keepers land on the aston lanes you could some times bag a 100 plus rabbits, no lie you couldn't load your magazines fast enough, and you would more often than not get a fox or 2 aswel especially if got a couple of rabbit's squeaking, i luv that scope ive still not had the chance to look through one me self yet, another great show anyway an looking forward to the next one

Wow, great shooter and so many rabbits. I hunt in Canada Ontario and the most seen rabbit is only one. You are lucky to be a place that you can find so many rabbits. Thanks for a good video

So, were you actually using a .22 LR or 17 HMR Ruger RPR, as it showed that it was a 17 there at the 2:48 mark? Either way, that's good shooting Stuart. They ( the bunnies I mean ) make a nice 'pop' when you hit them, don't they? I could watch more of this, i.e. lengthier video time.

To be honest at those ranges its hard to comment on the performance of the rifle, even an air rifle would perform at those distances. Be interesting to see how that rifle does at around 100 - 150 yards which is the distance I have to shoot rabbits at, I after a new rifle and have been looking at this.

Couple of observations on my end. 1. I think its great that the hunting culture appears alive and well in the U.K. 2. Suppressors!!! Dificult to aquire in the U S. Impossible here in California. 3. .17HMR is a great round. I've never used it for hunting. For smaller game, either a 12 or 20 gauge. Larger animals? Depends on what I've been shooting lately. 4. Rabbit Tacos!! Delicious!!

How many hoops does a brit have to go through to kill something with anything other than an air rifle? Just asking ?

Just curious from an american who can kill them with what ever we choose!

missiontiles not too bad. You have to shoot on private land with permission so if it’s your own land easy if not you need permission. Honestly buying a farmer a beer in the pub can sort that out. If you’re using a firearm you just need to sort out a gun cabinet and get a certificate. As long as you show good reason aren’t a criminal or have mental health problems it’s a bit lengthy but not difficult. Then you’re good to go

And you can cook foxes and feed them to your chickens!
@lukeharris76725 жыл бұрын
Excellent point! However foxes affect a range of species both wild and livestock, and with no natural predators it’s important to keep numbers at a sustainable number to prevent the damaging of the local animal populations due to over predation.

Glad you shot them in such a way as to make them die quick, I understand they can be pests and I understand hunting is normal and I don’t have any issue with that I just like to see it being done humanely as I don’t like animals suffering unnecessarily
