Thanks for another great show filled with lovely shooting from the man himself!

anyone elses thoughts on how he holds his gun on his shoulder? Doesn't look a very safe position, even if the gun is unloaded. I would be a bit worried standing behind him.

At 4:00 the blond lab is quite clearly terrified of him. None of our dogs behave like that. Normally love these videos but that left a bad taste.

When the guns get soaked from a rainy day outing what is your standard procedure for cleaning/ drying out? A complete tear down ?

pim1234 I love the shooting shows videos but yeah, that is not a dog that is being treated correctly. None of our dogs behave like that.

Purely an observation as I do enjoy your films but editor would have done well to spot the red/yellow Labrador's reactions.Pretty obvious the animal was very unhappy. Dog transportation did not impress either especially on such a day.I know some keepers can unfortunately be quite hard on their dogs.Had good working gun dogs for 30+ years and none have shown that kind of fear or travelled in such a way.Sorry just do not like to see it.I know some folks do sit their dogs out in front of them when shooting.Lord knows why maybe I have missed something ?Sponsors might not be too impressed. Still a good show which I enjoyed watching.

what difference does the type of wad make?
@milesjordan7217 жыл бұрын
Jasotech plastic wads can create a better shot pattern but don’t biodegrade so are sometimes looked down upon on pheasant shoots due to the amount of cartridges fired as it would leave a huge amount of wads scattered about. This is why fibre wads are preferred by most.

What happens to the dead birds? Are they divided up evenly among the shooters or do you keep what you shoot? Geoff does feed his family well. Great videos as always, thanks.
@charliepamment17 жыл бұрын
birds are usually paired male/female (a brace) and hung up until the end of the day where the beaters get first pick, then the guns help themselves to what ever is left.

Why do you shoot such beautiful birds?
@amigaman94338 жыл бұрын
they taste nice and they wouldn't have had any chance to exist if game shoots hadn't released them, they have every chance to fly elsewhere during the rest of the year.
@AmericanHero9118 жыл бұрын
I used to play on the Amiga, it brings back memories of my childhood whenever i see that word. Tasting nice isn't such a great reason since in a way it's prioritizing a sentient life form as less important than the temporary sensation of taste buds :/ However your second reason of them not existing if it wasn't for the game shooters releasing them creates an interesting factor. One that could only really be overridden if they found income through other methods which also involved sharing these beautiful birds with the nation. Maybe tourism by not only releasing pheasants but a whole diverse selection that could exist in perpetual harmony?

Like the rest of us that are concerned with the dog,how often do you beat that dog it's fucking petrified of you. There's now way you can say you don't. Only dogs that have been beaten behave like that. Shame on the Shooting show.
