Here's the full version of the NMBS/SNCB report (parliamentary hearing): kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYGxZH2bfdmWftU and here a shorter one (press conference): kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpuVlJ-fbLyMepo It's absolutely appalling and, contrary to Extrema Thule's claim, it has nothing to do with (poorly) running the trains, it's largely about the train's design, conception and manufacturing. For examples, cables were poorly fitted, doors did not close properly and, the worst of the worst, the Italians equipped this high speed train with regular brakes, totally unfit to stop a train at 200 or 250 km/h. This is just criminal. If this crap now runs normally in Italy, it is either because the Italians have not yet had a crash with it (in case of emergency braking at 250 km/h with these ordinary brakes, they will have a disaster), or because they have largely improved it after it came back from the Benelux.
