Can u make a tutorial for how the roof was generated using grasshopper I found it really interesting to see a real world application of how grasshopper is used:)

Hmm I might do it, just need to figure out how not to make it super "dry". It's a pretty long amd boring script.. soooo I will try - but no promises ;)

why didn't you take into account the construction limits (0.17 and boundaries) before starting the project?
@DesignGoBrr Жыл бұрын
We did. Sometimes it's easier to file for a change in regulation than to convince a client to have a smaller house. To be fair - since the time of recording we did manage to get the site limit bumped up, get a building permit and currently have the foundations laid out.

@@DesignGoBrr I'm happy to hear it. It is really true that 50% of a project depends on the quality of the customer. It happens more and more often to find unreasonable people.

Are the renders made with V-ray in Rhino? Also, what library do you use for vegetation and props?
@DesignGoBrr3 жыл бұрын
Yes, they are. These days - I just use a fully integrated Chaos Cosmos link. You can see it in action in my newest video!

All you drawings are made with rhino? And the renders with vray? The trees, grass and the vegetation in general was very nice. Probably these are meshes and not nurbs solids correct?
@DesignGoBrr3 жыл бұрын
Depends on which architect works on them. I personally do all Design development stage drawings/3D models in Rhino, while moving to a BIM software for Construction drawing stage. My colleague Olga uses Rhino for 3D modeling, but all drawings on all stages are done with BIM software. So there's no "correct" workflow here I think, only a matter of preference. All renders are done with Vray for Rhino with all vegetation imported from the Chaos Cosmos free object library (it's meshes). Grass is done with a hair simulation.

It may be interesting to export the model of rhino to sketchup, mapping texture and rendering there with Enscape. I tried here and find easier than using just rhino alone because of the warehouse. The only problem is that SKP is horrible to load models and became slow very fast. The Enscape thing i think it's faster to configure the textures and light, and the realism result is so freaking alike... The problem of Enscape is that i found a bit hard to understand how to use the ID image stuff for post production in PS, where Vray just give you everything

For now my fastest workflow is Rhino+Vray+Archicad, but I'm planning on replacing Vray with Twinmotion or D5 render to see if there is an improvement. Switching to Sketchup seems like a pretty big downgrade as it's not a proper tool for architectural design.

@@DesignGoBrr Yeah, i'm just saying that Sketchup have the Warehouse blocks to finish the render, even if you are using just the Rhino (you can export it too)! But you know, i'm just a student :p. And i think i will try Twinmotion too!
