Hey Steve, vocal coach, here! If that keeps happening, get checked out by an ENT specialist for Nodes. You do a lot of work with your voice, and overstressing it can cause nodules to form, which can cause vocal chord damage if left untreated and degrade your voice overtime. If you'd like something to help with soothing the throat, something called throat coat tea is available at shoppers, coconut oil really helps, honey really helps, and marshmallow (yes the big white fluffy things) also help. At some point they were going to throw a crapshoot goalie in for a mulligan game. They're scared woll will hurt himself if worked too much but they wouldn't mind Murray getting hurt instead of woll. Not the ideal situation but the best option in this less than ideal situation. Murray's like a small town 50/50 lottery. He's probably not a winner but theres a wayyy off chance that he may not be finished yet. Sports is crazy.

@ Middelstadt at 2C is more important than Byram who, while he is a good defender, will always be behind Power and Dahlin on their LD positions - and few defensemen are as good on their off side as they are on their natural side. You can make the argument that Byram is better than Middelstadt - but he isn’t nearly as important to the roster construction of the team. When you already have two 1OA players taking up both top 4 LD positions, getting another good LD is borderline worthless unless you already have the depth everywhere else to support it.

Sabres were 3rd in the Atlantic after their 4-2 defeat of the Sharks on November 23, with a record of 11-9-3. That game marked the end of a 4-game road trip in which the Sabres went 3-1, winning 3 straight after losing the 1st game of the trip to the Flyers. 5:11 something similar happened during a Kraken game. Opponent scores, Kraken challenge for offsides, ref review and announces agree and over turn the call and the kraken are not assessed a penalty, the Opponent coach calls the refs over, then the refs get together review some more and overturn the challenge and assess the kraken a penalty because the last player to touch the puck was a kraken who had ringed the puck around. The official sheet doesn't say the Opponent challenged and the league decided that the fans were mad at the overturn not the challenge of the challenge without it being marked as a challenge.

Amazing to think that the Sabres used to have Jack Eichel AND Sam Reinhart on their roster at one point not too long ago. I believe the issue with Buffalo is bad asset management - those two were the #1 & #2 overall picks in separate drafts. Just picture the Sabres with Eichel & Reinhart around. Yeah. Another problem is Pegula, the owner - he wouldn't spend to the cap & yet loves meddling in the day-to-day activities of the team. I thought he'd be a great owner but guess he's only great at micromanaging.

They had Eichel, Reinhart (Evander) Kane, Okposo, Rodrigues, Ryan O'Reilly, Zach Bogosian Dmitry Kulikov, Lehner and Ullmark on the same team 8 years ago. Almost all those names now are preceeded by "Stanley Cup champion", "Vezina winner" and other great accomplishments they all achieved right after they left the organisation. It's so obviously not a coincidence and management doesn't see this. They could use some of the success and silverware of teams like St Louis, Tampa, Vegas and Florida (aka teams that had a recent former Sabres player impact their chances or lead the way to a Stanley cup. Ironically 2 of those teams got their first cup in franchise history). So yeah. Bad Asset Management for sure. Among other things honestly

I think the Sabres' starter deserved better, he had a chance on only one of the goals he allowed. Awesome seeing the Domi line flying, they're overdue. Entertaining game!

Bobbert McMobbert absolutely popping off and I'm here for it. What an awesome player. I know Knies steals the show so often but between Knies and McMann it's so cool seeing players that weren't super toted as being something special doing so well in the NHL. Leafs are just low key extremely good at developing players now. Being able to develop goaltenders is a nice thing they've pulled off recently too.

Your team is playing like shit giving up huge chances. Pull the the goalie and the players at least understand that they shouldn't embarrass the next guy.
