been a while since I've heard anyone do this classic. Honestly, as an aspiring writer who doesn't actually write nearly as much as I should, there are a lot of things I relate to about this, including the "piece of shit" phase the protagonist goes through of telling scary stories to get laid (like I'm a woman and I've even kind of done this somewhat lmao), which isn't actually covered yet in this portion of the story, but we'll get there. Also sadly relate to the alcoholism part, except for me it was heroin instead.
