How do you guys get your weather when tripping? Thank you.
@KayakToTheSea2 ай бұрын
@Alien2799 Danielle has an InSight mini EPIRB that has 2 way text communication and can get weather reports. The reports were pretty sketchy though and couldn't rely on them.

Were there any possible camp sites on Bolkow?
@KayakToTheSea2 ай бұрын
@Alien2799 Several. There was one on the north side about half way with a big sandy beach. Looked to be popular with fishermen due to the level of use and stuff left there. And a few smaller sites we passed too. But the marked one near the train portage we couldn't find so that's why we ended up at the landing.

@@KayakToTheSea Thank you for getting back to me. I am planning on going on Bolkow next year. For max 3 nights. Where are the other campsites roughly and how big are they compared to the one from your video? Are they sandy too?
@KayakToTheSea2 ай бұрын
@Alien2799 There are a smattering of sandy beaches middle 1/3rd of the lake, north and south sides, that looked like they could be campsites. We didn't stop to investigate. The portage path up toward the park could also be a potential camp spot. If you get the park map I think there are marked sites on there.
