@@Slingshotsbowsandknifes-tm4ev It’s my pleasure! ☺️🙏🙏 The SiCai bows are Ming dynasty inspired (1368-1644, the Golden Horde). Indeed, Wiki clarifies, that the Golden Horde was named by the Europeans as ‘Tatars’, since they didn’t understand the differences between the Golden Horde and the ‘original’ Tatar people, living mainly in Tataros and Belarus… That’s why the Tatar bows and Ming bows look so similar. I think, that the Golden Horde, who has moved from China to Europe has ‘exported’ this bow design, but this is only my opinion 😁
