I was a missionary in the Philippines for a year. I turned 18 on the island of Samar. Was a trash addict kid and parents sent me to the camp from the movie Holes. The pastors who ran that place decided I was a good fit for the upcoming missions team. Two weeks on the PI and the pastor told me he was leaving me there. I lived there for a year. You can make a map that you can add all sorts of pins too that relate to different guests and write descriptions, add photos, and all sorts of other good stuff. Definitely look into it!

Couple things as someone who's been to Sicily a number of times; the western part of the island is where Palermo is, the capital, as well as places like Erice, Agrigento, San Vito Lo Capo. That's also where "people want to be". There are many rocky beaches as Santino said, but there are beautiful sandy beaches in the north western part of the island. Specifically Mondello and San Vito Lo Capo.

Ari, I hope you'll have some regular/non comic folks on. I loved when skeptic tank had regular folks or even homeless/travelling peeps telling rad/crazy stories. I know from experience you could have some of the most interesting conversations/stories with random Rainbow folk/Dirty Kids/hobos/train hoppers/rubber tramps/Skoolies/rock hounds and the traveling community in general.
