I feel like reina gets stronger and stringer the more funky tech people discover. Some stuff isnt useful, but her tech traps with ws4 have made her a lot more lethal

I actually did the Unsoku Sidestep Cancel into FF2 in a match just yesterday. It was however entirely on accident and it suprised my opponent just as much as it did me. I spent an hour or so after in training mode trying to replicate it without any success. I didn't even realize it was a sidestep.

Jeondding does unsoku but he mostly does it through f+2>unsoku cancel for frame trap.

I’ve known about this and have been using it since the first month of t8. However, unsoku into ff3 or iwr is what’s giving me the most trouble.

In my practice entering unsoku with ub3 or db3 increases the parry window. Is this a known thing and do we care?

@@TehStylishone yes but the timing is very tight. 99.99% I failed because I don't expect the parry to connect (accidental parry) or I just not fast enough to input 112 immediately after the parry animation ended. Really useless parry. At least give us more frame to connect SOMETHING, or more active frame on the parry itself! goddamit bamco.

I saw a video of Ulsan canceling the forward parry forced crouch dash and actually got a punish off of it. Maybe you could always do that, but I don't have access to Tekken rn so it made me wonder

Yeahh you can cancel the CD with up and get up to an i12f punish (someone correct me if I'm wrong lol)

This is GOLD. I will have to get this down so I stopped getting clipped mid movement. Having access to instant dash moves is sick. Do you find alot of success with the crouch dodge? I'm not using it enough

Make the next useless tech one about the wind step shuffle (doing f, n, b in succession), it acts as a discount wavedash: chases backdashes, realigns with sidesteps and has some parry frames as well as guard frames while giving you access to most of your moveset (including f, n 3, which is quite underutilized imo)
