Tokyo's got a lot more to offer than Shibuya crossing and Harajuku cotton candy and going on a tour like this one, is the perfect way to find it.

What always strikes me about vlogs set in the sort of rural areas of Japan is you've got all these side streets which are 1. Sooooooo damn clean! and 2. they look safe, like I don't know why but I get a very safe vibe from them, where I grew up in England you just do not go down side streets at all and then if you're in certain areas just try to avoid going out at night same where I live now in Italy, but certainly in major cities in the outskirts I'd never dare go to the side streets. Even in my hometown where I know the layout I stick to main roads at all times.

I have realized that i do want to visit Japan. Here is the short list of experiences i have accumulated so far. Akiba markets, a temple visit coupled with a temple festival, a back woods hot spring bath experience, historical samurai residence, an Ainu village. Between the 5 experiences that should give me a good vacation.
