The research centre requires key cards to progress through, the card you need is in the tunnel at the far end of the road past the school, big boss fight. Theres no backpack on that tower, its just a prop atm. In fact the research centre is unfinished as you cannot complete the elevator puzzle - still a work in progress. Scott uses ammo but very slowly, play around with his menu to decide what to give him, both he and the dog are very useful fighting infected, but absolutely terrible at fighting bosses and monsters. - play around with leo's commands to send him after a zombie. You are definately not ready for the research centre and you may struggle with the tunnel boss, the flame thrower is not much use against him, shotguns and revolver, and the sniper rifle are better. My advice, complete the trader quests and Ricks camp next maybe sort out the base for gardening dry meat etc get yor basics in survival and build up suppllies and maybe get the SUV and 50 cal turret? Whatever you choose, I'm sure I'll be laughing my ass off !! Good luck, enjoying the journey...

I'm genuinely staying away from watching stuff and learning as I go in real time from advice like this along with each recording as I'm only playing the game when I record, as to ensure the most honest and organic reactions possible! Well, at least you got it down. Set up Scott’s camp near your house to settle him in. Go through the conversation part, chose compassionate bits and he will bond with you and will fight, in his own way lol!

Once again great advice and I'll definitely take it! Thank you very much! Quick question though. Does Scott eventually run out of the ammo that's given to him or does he have infinite ammo once he has a gun and bullets? Thank you again for all your kind advice! Greatly appreciated!

@@RickyBeardGaming I gave Scott a few bullets for the pistol as he fires them quickly but does kill people. When he ran out he used the machete I gave him then for the last chap he used his fists. Killed most of them at any bandit camp I have taken him to.
