the most hilarious part is that a bunch of people don't understand that if you wait a year, the prices will drop significantly. as with time supply increases and demand reduces. its just like the steam market. its crazy how many people in the responses don't know not everyone who has these skin isn't going to sell in the opening week. First you get the whales who buy at whatever price they can, driving up demand, and then more supply trickles in as players learn of the market and put their stuff up for sale. People seem pretty upset about this comment lmao, grow up, take one look at the steam market sale graphs before you act like an underage in the comments.

I wanna get rid of so many bad charms/uniforms/skins but who in their right mind would buy things like the bp charms (which look ugly af in 9 out of 10 times)... wish ubi gave us the option to either mark stuff as favorites or let us convert stuff to either low credits (like a charm only gives around 10-50 credits) or renown... I love glacier cause I preffer a darker theme/aesthetic and I like black ice but wish it was darker. Glacier is straight up Black Ice but black instead of blue, I adore it. It just sucks they made it so rare and now the market exists and its ungodly expensive.

Genuinely this is a really good idea it makes it so if you want like the battle pass for example you just need to get lucky with one or a couple skins from alpha packs. Obviously not everything is there yet but eventually it will be fairly easy for you to get any items normally you would need to pay for. Also hope they keep adding skins there have been so many past event skins i either missed or didnt try and get and if I can now buy those I would be so happy. Especially some old operator skins are so sick but unobtainable

I already did that; I left siege about 4 years ago. I missed events and battle passes, but I had a black ice for ash that I got out of a pack ( I don't care for ash ). I sold it for 2000, and got some cool universal skins and cosmetics for rook and Mavrick.

Alot of the expensive items on the ubisoft marketplace are cheated in. Players are selling charms such as the 2018 VIP player charm, which only 30 pro/ex-pro players people have.

The 10% fee isn't just to make you but more credits, it might be one of the reasons but the main reason is to counteract the fact that almost every skin that is being sold will be sold for more than if was bought for, meaning that all of a sudden there's more value in the market than there was because of the appreciation of the skins, this is to balance the appreciation of skins so the value in the market is controlled.

Unless you own something fairly rare such as Six Invitational items, Glacier or Gold Dust then you can earn almost nothing from the marketplace. As you say, everyone is unloading absolutely everything they own, even at the lowest price of 120 credits whether it's Uncommon or Legendary.

I'm mean most people can easily make 10k which is still a lot. I went through my whole inventory and just the legendarys, black ices and epics were 9k with tax I think and if I sold all the rares and uncommons I'd have even more. I'm a lesion main and with that I could buy all legendaries for him and just a lot of skins and charms I always wanted to have.

I mean, the only skins and stuff I feel would be worth it for me, looking at the prices, would be past battle pass skins I missed like Lion and Cav's from Thorn and Sens' seasons. Even then though, prices fluctuate and you never know what skins will float back in Siege. Very suprised to see the board game skins and older skins being sold. I mean, to each their own though so 😅

I've played all SI events, grinded all the SI battle passes, I have the sets/guns/charms/headgears/uniforms/etc, hibana SI/Mozy SI/Sledge SI/ Smoke/ and so much more. I don't feel like selling them as it's almost like history to me but I could probably get a bunch of credits. I even have some of the more unknown skins, especially from the Apocalypse event, remember the paint ball like skins in the SI that a lot of people don't have? Well it's sitting in my back pocket, I feel like a collector now. I don't think I'd go as far as selling my lesion zombie skin though lol.

Ubisoft taxes 10% of profit from any sale you make. You don't trade in real money though, just R6 creds. Since R6 credits aren't real money, you lose nothing yourself. You basically just get taxed imaginary money for every sale. (I assume just to balance out profit margins for anyone doing some crazy skin flipping.)

so from now should you list any black ice that you may be able to get from alpha packs before doing an opening? that way the one you've listed will be gone from your inventory and If you get another one of the same black ice, would it be a duplicate or would you just unlock it again, as well as having the one listed? that way instead of getting 6000 credits for a duplicate you can the respective amount of r6 coins (when it sells). THEN what would happen if you cancelled the order after getting a duplicate black ice. Think the morale of the story is dont go ham right off the bat😭

It's almost certainly because they don't want the value of most black ices to go to shit. If everyone is selling black ice, and everyone is buying black ice, the price will drop over time. It becomes cheaper and more common, and Ubisoft loses their special skin everyone hundreds of hours grinds for.
